You can probably use this antenna mount as a recovery point it's built so heavy duty (Not really). Fits perfect on the Alpha HD tire carrier and sets the antenna straight as an arrow. Worth every cent.

Good little bracket, the holes where the antenna stud(s) can be located (two holes on the top) both have the powder-coat stripped away for making good ground contact.Teraflex suggested making sure the bolt threads are also rubbed clean where they install on the carrier to keep that good ground going. Bracket seem like it was previously used it was scuffed up with deep scratch marks and also the bolts heads . Good thing I'm not looking for show car looks but they could have been a lot better especially a teraflex item. Item it self is a great just wish the pre drill holes would be a bit more separated.

I love this antenna mount. It is such an improvement over where I had my antenna before installing the Teraflex HD Hinge. It looks great and places the antenna far enough away from the tire to alleviate rubbing issues. Although this does have uncoated areas that should provide a ground, I was still not getting a solid ground. I added a ground wire and everything is perfect.
