Bright Classic LED Aquarium Light, Reef Plant Fish Tank Light with Extendable Brackets, Aquatic Plant Growth Lamp White and Blue LEDs

I purchased this aquarium light as I was looking for a full spectrum LED light. This unit is rated at 14 Watts with 72 LED's. Three types of LEDs combined to produce full spectrum. To my surprise, the light was 2 - 3 times brighter than the average 14 Watt available here on Amazon.The light has no dimmer or timer. Just an ON/OFF switch on the power supply. Since the light uses a simple mechanical click ON click OFF switch, it can be connected to an old fashion mechanical timer. A newer electronic timer will work too.If you are looking for a bright, full spectrum light, you can't go wrong with this item.NOTE: This item is shipped from China, NOT the US. It took 19 days to arrive at my house. From the time I ordered on Amazon, it was shipped within 48 hrs. When it arrived at Los Angeles, U.S customs held it for 8 days before releasing it USPS. No Amazon Prime 2day delivery for this item.

I bought this little light because my tanks original cheap little lights went out and holy cow what a difference! I have some Anubias and Pothos cuttings in there so I wanted something that might help them grow and thrive. It has only been in there like a week and the anubias already are moving toward the light and the pothos have a ton of new roots. I was so happy as soon as I turned it on it is SO bright and beautiful. My tank is only 2 gallons and I have seen complaints that it is not bright enough but I don't see how unless they didn't read the description and tried putting it on a big tank. It is beautiful. My tank has a lid so I couldn't use it how it is intended with the little plastic supports, so I just sat it on the top and I will eventually attach it to the inside of the lid with Velcro. It is SO thin and sleek which makes it perfect for this. I could just leave it on the top since it's so thin. Over all I love this light and am considering buying more for my other small betta tanks. I hope it lasts!

Works great but has no dimmer. Light can be pretty strong and burn sensitive plants or algae blooms. Have to adjust number of hours down.

Shipped quickly and packaging was great. This bright little light fits my 1 gallon desktop plant tank perfectly. I am not concerned about it falling in at all. It’s stable. I haven’t set up the rest of the tank yet but I am very excited about the light. I am confident it can handle the low light plants I’m putting in there. Trying Walstad tank for the first time.

First, the delivery took forever. Then, 5 months in, it stopped sending light. It shows on, but no light. It’s sitting on top of my plant shelf, no aquarium or water, other than normal moisture in the air. They will only give a discount on a new one. Never will buy from them, again! My daughter pd same and it included a timer.

Helps plants grow.

Not big as I thought it would be very small but by it works

It’s bright, they weren’t kidding. Whenever I look at it it’s like starring at the sun. Or getting a flood light reflected off a glass into your eyeball. It’s (personally) very bright. Especially if you have a glass lid, that just makes it so much stronger. I put a tinted Saran wrap to make a hood cause it’s so bright. Besides that, it’s great.

This is my second light fixture of this type, this time for a smaller shrimp tank. Basic plants are doing well under both of them, and so small size is really hard to find. Very satisfied and recommend it, if you don't need sunrise-sunset, increments and rgbw.

Could come packaged better as mine is bent, I hope it doesn’t affect the lights shelf life. Anyway love the brightness and the plants love it too

The media could not be loaded.  After 3 months of use the light flickers after 5 mins of being in operation. It is separated from the aquarium water by glass so I know it’s just a bad product and not from condensation/poor use.
