Colonial Tin Works Gathering Basket in Green/Rust (1)

I really like the look of this basket and what makes it even better is that it holds a ton of eggs. Easily holds 3 dozen assorted sized eggs (pictured).

This is rustic and rusty, just like in the pic. It's more rust-colored than green. Nothing was broken, and the handles worked, when it arrived. This would make a beautiful Easter basket, or table centerpiece with flowers, or it would be great for a backyard farmer for collecting eggs. You could use it in the bathroom to hold wash clothes or use it in the kitchen to hold fruit. You could thread ribbon or fabric through the wires for more decoration. After you get tired of the rustic look, you could spray paint it a bright, seasonal color for a unique look. It's a great little basket!

The size of the basket is good. I personally feel that the color description "green/rust" is misleading. I would say it look like you have a dark brown metal that was left out in the rain and has spots of rust on it. Other then that it is true to description. My daughters couldn't wait to go out back to collect the eggs with this one!

Gave as gift and it was received well. Expected it to be a little larger than it actually is but othet wise it was a great choice of gift. Recipient is planning to use it either as a decoration or to use it to collect the eggs her chickens lay.

The basket is nice. It is not what I expected, but that is my own fault...I didn't pay attention to the dimensions as advertised. I thought the basket would be larger. I decided to use it anyway and it is cute.

Very cute. Perfect for gathering a few eggs each day. Thought it would be slightly bigger--but that being said, it is nice and would be good for a decorative item as well.
