Wirefy Crimping Die for Heat Shrink Connectors - 22-10 AWG

Makes great crimps. Easy to swap dies

The only tools i will buy now for the wire fitting crimping process are those that have/use the quick removable die sets. I looked at several before buying the Wirefy but decided I like their design most of all. There were a bit pricier than others but since they were the only ones that sold a "HIGH LEVERAGE " crimping tool, I decided that would work best for me especially if your crimping lots of connections or crimping the larger gauge wire sizes.

Works fine with my cheap china crimpers Used on 3m heat shrink terminals and other stuff. Doesn't work on butt splice terminals though.

I thought I did my research but it turns out, unless you buy the 90 dollar crimper that already comes with all the dies, this one wont fit on any other crimper. My plan was to buy the crimper for insulated terminals, and then buy the die for the heat shrink since I only needed those two. 30 bucks max compared to the big set for like 90 bucks. Then when I went to finally change the die, realized the die is made specifically for that 90 dollar one and wont fit the insulated crimper I bought. Not super mad about it, but wish I knew that before spending the money. Now Im too late to return, so thats bummer.

Good quality but it’s difficult to insert on to my crimper and I have to use a screwdriver to pry it back out.

Very solid crimp on my heak shrink components. They all pass the tug test, and they don’t pierce the shielding. Included photos of what the crimp looks like on a AWG 16 cable, and then i cut the splice open to show the cross section. It’s very even and well spread. Even when cut in two, the crimp holds. Very impressed.
