These are great when making kombucha in swingtop bottles.

I strongly discourage using these gaskets on EZ Cap bottles. Unfortunately, when I recently inspected and opened my batch of cider, I found that these gaskets caused the glass bottles to break where the metal hinge connects with the bottle. While I haven't yet tested them on my Grolsch bottles, I feel obligated to caution others that these gaskets are too thick for the E.Z.Cap 500 ml Clear Swing top bottles. Initially, I was thrilled to receive these gaskets due to their fast delivery, attractive price, and appealing packaging. However, I must emphasize that they are not compatible with E.Z.Cap bottles. As a result of this regrettable experience, I'm contemplating reverting to using bottle caps instead. It's disheartening to encounter this inconvenience, considering the significant investment I made in my bottles.Furthermore, it's worth noting that the issue of the gaskets breaking the E.Z.Cap bottles appears to be a manufacturing problem on E.Z.Cap's part. It seems that the bottles were not designed to accommodate gaskets of this thickness, resulting in these unfortunate breakages. This underscores the importance of exercising caution when using these particular gaskets with E.Z.Cap bottles.

Most of my beer was flat, or only partially carbonated. These are not as good as my old rubber ones. I will double up on them my next batch.

I ordered these for making ginger bug sodas and water kefir, and all the information encourages the use of the flip top bottles. I have several old and older flip top bottles with dried out and brittle seals, these seals fit them all perfectly. Since they come in packs of 100 ( which I somehow missed) I will never have dried out or brittle seals again. Oh and my ginger bug soda and kefir are fizzier than ever
