Nice light, but only charges with included cable.
UPDATE:Apparently it doesn't charge with any other USBC cable except the original one it came with. It's charging now, hopefully it keeps charging.I wonder though if something happens to the included cable, so the unit is useless?Changed my review to 5 stars because I actually did enjoy using the light. This is suppose to be a good light with great feature but only got to use it with one charge as I found out just a day after return window is passed that the unit won't charge. I tried different chargers and different cables it still won't charge. I usually don't leave reviews but this really hurts as it served its purpose for my first shoot and now I can't use the light anymore. Maybe I got a bad unit and really hoped I could get an exchange.

Very happy with this purchase.
I just received my FE F7ii and so far I’m very impressed. I watched several YouTube reviews on this before finally pulling the trigger. I find the reviews to be very accurate so far. The unit is very robust with a sturdy build. The magnets are okay and will hold on a flat solid metal surface. I wish there were more magnets inside, it seems as if their are 2 on the edges on one of the short sides. For me the feature that really caught my attention is the fact that led can be adjusted via the DeSal Lite app. So far the app is working as intended and is easy to use.Overall, my first impression is very positive and I’m looking forward to seeing what this thing can do.

Falcon Eyes F7II Pockelight is a Portable, BEAST of a Light
The Falcon Eyes F7II Pockelight is a wonderful asset to have on any production, and I have found it extremely useful, powerful, portable and durable in the past few months that I have used it. Highly recommended to all filmmakers out there. Despite some shortcomings listed below, I love this light. Always have it with me on each and every single shoot. Some cons - the magnets aren't the best considering the weight of this small light. For a durability, the light needs to be heavier, but I've found the light sometimes slides to the point I haven't trusted leaving it hung on certain surfaces. The small viewer on the back of the light isn't the most informational and intuitive, but you can still get the job done just fine. The battery meter only shows four bars, which when you're on that last bar I have wondered... "Do I have five minutes of fifty left on this charge?" I like how the Lume Cube Mini has an exact time of how much battery life is left. Also, the app for this light is not great. Coming from using the Aputure app, the Sidus Link, one of the most intuitive, easy to use apps out there for LED, Bluetooth enabled lights, this Falcon Eyes app cannot even measure up (run on sentence much?). The app needs a lot of help to become something I would trust when using this light. But like I said, I love this light.

Better Battery Life then listed - it runs 3.5 Hours!
I picked up this light to compare it against my Aputure MC RGB LED light and it is better in several ways. One thing is the battery can run about 3.5 hours instead of 2, like on the MC - but the other thing is that it provides a good amount more light output at 1200-1600 lux instead of only 400 lux at 1/2 meter. I also love that Falcon Eyes provides a grid with the kit, which is something that Aputure is not giving you with their LED lights. This version 2 model also added bluetooth mobile app support with DeSal Lite which is helpful to pull colors using your phones camera to match anything in your environment pretty easily. Some of the things I don't like is that it is heavy compared to the Aputure MC and the magnets are not as strong as the MC so it won't hold onto surfaces all that great, but it does have a 1/4-20 mount for most applications. Overall - I'm very happy with this light and now consiering getting an F7 mini to go with it.

Don't Buy this light.
I have only used the light once and now it will not charge. Listen to the other reviewers that say the same thing. I am past the month window to return the item, so I can't return to amazon. I will try to contact falcon eyes to see if they can replace the light. Really disappointed that the product failed so quickly. I would recommend going with another brand. I had watched a few YouTube videos and I thought this one would work well - super bummed.

Great with bad app
Very versatile and great light to put everywhere. I have 18 and they are a must in every commercial/feature I do. The great cons is the app. Not easy to use and some of them don’t pair. But the overall is extremely positive

Perfect Portable Light for YouTube.
Lighting is something you don’t want to be cheap with. You need something reliable that’s going to meet many different circumstances. The F7II does that. The build quality is amazing. Not like other cheap plastic lights. Strong metal design which is great and feels like it will last awhile. This light allows me to do everything. Color temperature adjustable, RGB adjustable, brightness adjustable, and it even comes with a diffuser for a nice soft light on your skin.Comes with a show mount tripod adapter so you can attach it to any camera shoe mount, literally all I need in a light! Highly recommended.

Dead only after a use
I have used product for 2-3 hours. After a month, when I tried to turn on, device didn't start. I have tried several cable and usb bricks, not any result. Device doesn't charge, start. Completely dead. Don't recomment to anyone
