## Description

Get out on the water with the Ugly Stik Saltwater Spinning kit, which features an original Ugly Stik rod with durability trusted since 1977 and a variety of tackle to target saltwater species. Fishing has gotten too pretty. Unscratched sparkle barges with nuclear-powered engines. Rods that act like skittish thoroughbreds instead of unshod workhorses. Fish pictures taken for ‘likes' instead of refrigerator doors. It's time to fish the way it's meant to be done, with tough, durable tackle built to provide ten whopper fish pics for every one of some dandy holding a fancy rod and a fingerling. It's time to fish ugly.

Review: Excellent Value Saltwater Combo - So Good I Bought a Second One - We recently relocated to a home on an Intracoastal Waterway and needed a sturdier rod and reel setup for fishing from our dock. After using this Ugly Stik Complete Spincast Combo, I was impressed enough to order a second one. For anyone looking for an affordable saltwater-ready setup, this is a great value. The combo comes pre-spooled with 20 lb test monofilament line, which I would consider appropriate for light-to-medium-duty saltwater fishing. It's ready to fish right out of the box, which is always a nice bonus. The reel has been smooth and reliable, and the rod has the solid feel and durability that Ugly Stik products are known for. The balance between strength and sensitivity is good, allowing me to feel bites while still having enough backbone to handle stronger fish around docks and pilings. I've been using this setup primarily to target sheepshead that congregate around our dock pilings, and it has performed very well. The rod has enough power to pull fish away from structure while still being enjoyable to fish. Considering the performance, included line, and overall quality, I think this combo offers excellent value for the money. At around the $45 price point, it's hard to find much to complain about. Overall, this is a dependable, affordable fishing combo that performs well, feels great in hand, and offers far more value than its price would suggest.
