Does the Job But Starting to Unstick and Turn Yellow
After having this product installed on four doors of two vehicles for about five months, I would summarize my experience as follows:PROs:+ easy to install+ does protect against minor bumping of doors against other cars+ relatively unobtrusiveCONs:- sections of the edge guards are starting to unstick from the doors. I tested out the edging on the first vehicle starting in November; it's been a mild winter, so the product hasn't even experienced very severe weather yet. We'll see how it holds up after a summer of high 90s or above.- For the price, they could give you a little more edging, especially if it starts to peel off after a while. (It took just under 18 feet of edging for one four-door mini SUV and one standard four-door sedan.)UPDATE: After another 4 months of use, the adhesive is much less sticky, and parts of the edge guards come unstuck every couple of days. Furthermore, the clear material has started to yellow, looking rather unattractive. In the future, I would go with the black color on a darker colored car (if I get any more at all).

Ok, but ended up falling off
Maybe I didn't install this correctly, but water kept getting behind the trim and eventually the adhesive stopped sticking. I cut the trim into strips and put them on my car doors. I have a Silver car so I thought the clear color would look better than black. Since you can see through it, you can see the water and dirt behind it. When it got cold, they trim froze up and became rigid and fell off two of my doors. Again, maybe I didn't install it right, but I don't think I would buy this again. Maybe try using a heat gun to heat up the surface and the trim before installing.

The clear doesn't stay clear.
It discolors or clouds over short time. I got and installed the clear on my black car and it was hardly visible at first. After a few months it is cloudy and looks bad. I bought silver for my wife's car and that still looks great.I put them in the sun for a few minutes to increase flexibility when installing but I don't think that was the best idea because the strips contracted a bit after installation. They pulled away from the top by about 1/8". It is not noticable.

SO FAR, SO GOOD!
My only complaint about this product is that for around $13, I wish they'd add like another 2ft of the protective strip... it's pretty easy to apply, and blends in well (I ordered the clear)... I have a 2011 Dodge Caliber and it was enough to completely do both front doors and about 10" on each back door..what was left from the front doors, I I cut exactly in half & applied it to the part of the back doors that were furthest out when the door was fully opened..

Helps big time in the garage.
I like this a lot. The main reason I got it is because there's not a lot of room between my cars in the garage and not a lot of room between them and the walls. If the driver doesn't park exactly according to the guides I set up then the doors can whack the other car or the wall. I only put this stuff on the section of door edge that sticks out the farthest and therefore hits nearby things. There was plenty to do all four doors on two cars.

Just wish the price was better, this can't cost more than a few cents ...
Arrives rolled up and a bit twisted. I applied this in the winter and the plastic was really hard so I boiled a pot of water and quickly dipped the edge guard in it to make it pliable. That step should be in the instructions as it worked perfectly. Just wish the price was better, this can't cost more than a few cents to make and they charge $13. Ridiculously poor value but cheaper than new paint on someone's door when my kids open up the back doors.

one brown and one black it didn't look too bad. I don't know what it will be like ...
Hard to put on when its cold because it comes twisted. I ended up using a rubber mallet to tack it on the door jamb. One roll is not long enough to do a four door sedan but I did a four door and a two door with two rolls. The clear looks kind of tacky because of the glue inside the channel. Once I got it on both cars, one brown and one black it didn't look too bad. I don't know what it will be like in hot weather.

breaks down in the sun
Mounted to my wagon/estate to reduce the chance of the kids damaging adjacent cars. They discolored after a year in the sun. After 2 years they went rigid, the glue inside turned white and stuck to the car. It took hours to clean up and I haven’t been able to get it all off.
