It's tough and didn't taste too plasticy for a first outing. Much better than most I've tried.The last one I had from a more well known brand made the water taste vile, even after several uses. I didn't find this to be the case with this product though.In summer I had the 3l capacity and at the back of my rucksack, it stayed cool for quite a while considering the 24°c we were walking in. It's got a great fold over top opening and even though it says not to, I dropped a few ice cubes in before leaving home. It really helps when using trekking poles as I did recently so you are not having to constantly grab for a water bottle. The bladder is easy to use, easy to fill, easy to drink from. It has a stop valve so just need to remember that when drinking from it as I forgot a few times thinking it wasn’t working but I didn’t have the valve in the right position, it just slides up and down on and off. Also has a cap too to ensure mouth piece stays clean and hygienic. There’s also no unpleasant taste from the bag eg rubber smell or taste in case that’s a concern for anyone.
