I can't say enough good things about these Mutti Polpa tomatoes! I keep coming back to Amazon for them time and time again because they really are the best quality tinned tomatoes I've ever used. What really sets these apart is how wonderfully non-acidic they are. I've tried so many other brands that leave that sharp, harsh taste, but these are perfectly balanced - sweet, rich, and smooth without any of that unpleasant acidity. They taste like proper sun-ripened Italian tomatoes should! The finely chopped texture is spot on - not watery like cheaper brands, but thick and clingy with just the right amount of pulp mixed with the juice. I use them for absolutely everything: pasta sauces, pizza bases, curries, stews, soups. They work brilliantly in any dish. The quality is consistently excellent every single time. No metallic taste, no green bits or stalks, just beautiful Italian tomatoes from Parma. Knowing they're made with 100% Italian tomatoes and just a pinch of salt (no preservatives or additives) makes me feel good about what I'm feeding my family. They're a bit more expensive than supermarket own-brands, but the difference in quality is absolutely worth it. Amazon's pricing is competitive too, and the convenience of having them delivered means no lugging heavy tins around the supermarket!

THE best tomatoes for your cooking. Very fine chopped (basically pulp) so amazing for italian sauces. I personally like something a little coarser for chille or adding to curries. But these do taste the best for sure. If you can get on a deal they are definitely worth the money.

Mutti Polpa is one of the best canned tomato products on the market and the only tomatoes we ever buy. The flavour is fresh and vibrant with a great balance of sweetness and acidity. Unlike standard diced tomatoes, Mutti Polpa is finely chopped, making it ideal for smooth sauces, soups, and stew. We use it in every single dish requiring tinned tomatoes form a basic red pasta sauce to a lore complex bolognaise sauce.

My favourite tin Tommies which are full of flavour and not at all watery. Even better when they're on special offer and cheaper than the supermarket.

Si se habla de tomates enlatados Mutti es decisamente, y sin duda alguna, la marca numero uno en el mercado mundial! Si eres un apasionado de la pizza hecha en casa, ese es el tomate perfecto!

As a professional chef, I've used Stanislaus 74/40 for many years. #10 cans aren't very user friendly for the home chef, so for the house, I normally buy Cento brand San Marzano 29 oz cans. A friend from Parma Italy suggested I give Mutti tomatoes a try. I bought a case of Polpi 15 oz cans and was blown away! These taste of ripe, summer tomatoes with the perfect balance of acid & sweetness. Use them right out of the can as a pizza sauce, or simmer a bit with EVOO and a touch of garlic for a wonderful Marinara. Do yourself a favor and give these a try. Very versatile...use them where you would use whole, crushed or puree.

I can never have enough of these. At least use them once a week - 2-3 cans. Just heated over pasta or spaghetti squash with a bit of garlic makes a perfect meal. After going to Italy, I don't think I could use any other canned tomatoes, they're even better than the fresh ones! All the Mutti tomatoes - It's at least my 4th pack of 12. Sometimes I'll use these, add some cocoanut milk and some curry, lightly poach a fish in it and serve over rice. So easy!!
