Great Guide, Very Helpful
Travel guides become dated. It's an unavoidable fact and people had made note about that with the previous version of "Top 10 Toronto." I used this in May 2013 for a vacation, only a month after it was published. In fact, I was looking for something really, really current. It's a great little travel guide. The top 10 format provides enough information without overkill. I like to explore and this guide was perfect for that. I found everything up-to-date. It is smallish, so it'll fit in a small bag or purse. Overall, this guidebook worked really well for me. I had planned to visit one of Toronto's visit centers for tourists, but with this book, I found I didn't need to.Toronto is laid out well and it's easy to navigate, especially the downtown core. I flew there and didn't bother with a car. I took the subway or streetcar everywhere. The maps in "Top 10 Toronto" were easy to read, and helpful when using rapid transit. However, the maps are a bit small, even the pull-out map that comes with the guidebook. I purchased and carried this as well, in case I needed a bit more map detail: Streetwise Toronto Map - Laminated City Center Street Map of Toronto, Canada (Streetwise (Streetwise Maps))

Great summary
For a brief visit to Toronto, this is an excellent source. Plenty of material was packed into an easy to carry format. There was about as much information as one could digest during the flight to Toronto, and it proved to be a good primer for a visit to the city.

A small book that packs a bunch!
I'm an avid traveler and I'm picky about my travel books. Considering I only spent 3 days in Toronto, this book did just fine for me. It had enough information to get me to some really interesting sites and neighborhoods. It even gave detailed walking tours through the sites & neighborhoods I visited. For such a small book, it actually packs quite a bit of detail. Very happy with this purchase!

Definitely Useful!
Once again I chose to purchase a DK Top 10 book, this time for Toronto. We had been to Toronto once before, so I didn't need a big, detailed book. We used the Top 10 extensively over our week long stay, as I could carry it easily in my small backpack purse. HIghly recommended!

Perfect to bring along!
I love the Eyewitness Top 10 travel guides! They give you just enough information to read up more online about what you would like to see when you travel. Great ideas and summaries, and I love the included map!

Great Guide
Used it on a recent weekend trip to Toronto. Very useful guide and provided plenty of guidance for us to see the sights and get around the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Toronto and the Top 10 guide helped us find our way.

Great travel guide
Great book to carry around in your handbag. Lots of interesting bits of information but not too much to wade through.
