Engineered from the ground up, new Rumble amps are lighter and louder than ever, with even more power and a classic Fender vibe. A newly developed foot-switchable overdrive circuit and versatile three-button voicing palette deliver powerful tones ideal for any gig. This amp includes many pro features such as XLR output, overdrive circuit and a 10 inch Special Design speaker. Its dimensions are 16.1x20.5x21.3 inches and it weighs 19.7lbs Review: Absolutely perfect practice amp and more! - It’s incredible how much power is packed into this reasonably sized lightweight amp. I was only looking for a small practice amp where I could learn the bass at home without disturbing the neighbors. I barely need to turn up the volume knob to use this, there are surprisingly a number of options for tone shaping, and the headphone along with the aux inputs are welcome additions. As others have mentioned, the overdrive might not be to everyone’s taste, but the vintage knob sounds fantastic. For the convenience and how shockingly light this thing it was exactly what I was looking for. Review: Power Packed! - Small size and lite-weight but power packed. I am impressed with this little Bass Amplifier by Fender - the Rumble 40 V3 is surprisingly well put together. Don't let the small size of this Amp fool you... hook it up, turn it on and crank it up. The 10" speaker packs a punch and provides plenty of volume for small rooms no problem. The XLS Out is the real prize though... with the ability to directly connect this Amp to my mixer, I can play any gig with this little Amp. Delivery was delayed for a day but I have no idea why. But it came the following day and the box was in good shape. It came in a standard cardboard box with typical styrofoam corner pieces to protect it from side impact. Unpacking was a simple matter of opening the top flaps of the box, removing the styrofoam corners and lifting it straight out of the box. It came with a rather short electric cord but it is a D type connector and I have many of them laying about so getting a longer one for it will be no problem. The knobs feel good not loose or cheap feeling. The levels were a bit harder to appreciate at least to my ear... its difficult to hear minor changes in knob settings when turning them. The best feature is the classic vibe button and the the separate Master knob. Nothing surprising. Just good, logical, placement and orientation - it made it easy to figure things out and adjust the volume and tone to my liking. Back to the speaker - the 10" speaker pushes a lot of air for such a small size which was a pleasant surprise. Bottom line - for a buck ninety nine the Fender Rumble 40 is a solid deal and makes a great practice / small room Bass amp by itself and with the added ability to connect it directly to your board means you can play it anywhere. Small size yep... I'm digging it. Power packed! If I could make one suggestion it would be to make the box just a touch larger and include the air holes to help it move even more air but that's just the old school coming out! lol! :-) Keep Rocking Good People! Keep Rocking! Update 07/01/2020 - Purchased this in 2018 now all these months later and numerous shows and practices and getting lugged around and thrown in the van and etc etc... This little gem of a Bass amp has truly stood up to the test of "actual use" - not just sitting in a room somewhere but essentially getting tromped on and moved around rather regularly. Of course Corona put a damper on things for about the last 4 months or so but prior to the end of the world, we played a huge gig for St. Patricks and the Rumble 40 stood up nicely. The thing that stangs out the most is the XLS output jack in the back that allowed our sound guy to plug it into the giant sub cub speaker stand and basically fill the room with atomic level boom boom. It was awesome! Cheers! Keep rocking everyone! Be safe out there! ## Features - The Fender Rumble 40 V3 Bass Amplifier features 40 watts, 20.25Dx20.25Wx16H inches - A 10 inch Fender Special Design speaker pumps 40 watts of pure Fender bass tone - The newly-developed overdrive circuit and switchable contour controls supply this bass amp with a rich, satisfying tone - The compact and lightweight ported enclosure has a removable grille - 2 Year Limited Warranty: Fender amplifiers are designed for players and built with unmatched quality, down to the last screw, Fender warrants this amplifier to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from original purchase ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HWINMR6 | | Amplifier Type | Solid State | | Best Sellers Rank | #548 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #1 in Bass Guitar Amplifier Combo Amps | | Brand | Fender | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Bass Guitar | | Connector Type | XLR | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,341 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Black Textured Vinyl, Silver Grille Cloth | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00885978288038 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 12"D x 16.5"W x 16.5"H | | Item Type Name | Bass Combo Amplifier | | Item Weight | 20.9 pounds | | Manufacturer | Fender Musical Instruments Corp. | | Material | Black Textured Vinyl, Silver Grille Cloth | | Mfr Part Number | 2370300000 | | Model Name | 2370300000 | | Model Number | 2370300000 | | Number of Bands | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Output Channel Quantity | 1 | | Output Wattage | 40 watts | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Dimensions | 12"D x 16.5"W x 16.5"H | | Sound Profile | Balanced and versatile bass tone | | Speaker Size | 8 inches | | UPC | 885978288038 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 5 year limited | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fender - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Bass Guitar - **Material:** Black Textured Vinyl, Silver Grille Cloth - **Output Wattage:** 40 watts ## Images ![Rumble 40 V3 Bass Amp for Bass Guitar, 40 Watts, with 2-Year Warranty Speaker, with Overdrive Circuit and Mid-Scoop Contour Switch - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91P3g0N9IBL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this amp (the 40) have a modeling feature, where it can simulate the sound of other amps?** A: It has a poor mans version.. it offers 3 settings, beyond the default, u can enable modes called, Contour, Vintage and Bright, personally i just use the default and don't really use those other modes.. they don't seem to offer much from a modeling side. If you want that option, you need to step up your game and spring for the Rumble Studio 40, it has a digital LCD display with tons of modeling options, but its twice the cost of this amp. **Q: Does the rumble 40 works for professional recording with a separate DI box?** A: It has an XLR out and a line out that doesn’t require you to need a di box **Q: Is this amp for an American power outlet as AC power?** A: Yes, typical 3 prong male plug **Q: For the 40w, will the direct out transmit pre or post amp signal?** A: Pre amp signal. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely perfect practice amp and more! *by T***L on August 20, 2026* It’s incredible how much power is packed into this reasonably sized lightweight amp. I was debating between the 40 W and the 100 W but I decided on the 40w. More than loud enough for my basement. Fender did not disappoint. Excellent sound for my bass and I would recommend this product. It is also super lightweight. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fender Rumble 40 V3 Bass Amp for Bass Guitar, 40 Watts, with 2-Year Warranty 8 Inch Speaker, with Overdrive Circuit and Mid-Scoop Contour Switch - New bee Guitar Cable 10ft Electric Instrument Bass AMP Cord for Electric Mandolin, Pro Audio (Right Angle to Straight, Black) - Amazon Basics Adjustable Folding Guitar Stand, A-shape, Fully Assembled - For School Music Program, Concerts & Multiple Users, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/2729404-rumble-40-v3-bass-amp-for-bass-guitar-40-watts](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/2729404-rumble-40-v3-bass-amp-for-bass-guitar-40-watts) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
