Very good system.
You can tell immediately that the chlorine smell is gone. The last one I used lasted a full year before the water flow got lower and it was time to change the filter. It is very easy to change and really worth the money.

An affordable way to reduce chlorine
Been using these Paragon filters for over 1 year now. Appears to help...water pressure is diminishednoticeably but reduces chlorine also. Assume these filters are working...An affordable, inexpensiveway to reduce any chlorine. My city chlorinates its water, nasty tasting water, should do the whole house!

Let the water run through the new filter for about five minutes.
I liked the replacement filter. I’ve used this brand for over 20 years. We used to get them from Home Depot and they don’t stock them in the store or on line. They go in the shower head.

Over priced short life filter
This was a good filter ,I would get 8 months or more out of a filter but now I am lucky to get 2 weeks out of one. The filter is way over priced to be changing all the time. I am moving on to a different brand.

Used to be good filters, but now they clog up
I've used these filters for years with no problem - they usually last about 6 months. However, the past several filters I've used have gotten completely clogged after 2 - 3 weeks. We live in New York City, and our water does not have significant sediment - I can only conclude the filter medium has changed. I have had to switch to a different shower filter.I've given an extra star because National was was very good about giving a refund when I contacted them about my problems with the filters. I would definitely buy from them again.

Less than expected
Three filters were on sale for a very low price. When they were delivered, one of the filters had a loosened cap which allowed the charcoal to leak out. It seems unlikely that it will work properly. I do not know if the low sale price reflected the broken filter or if the filter broke during shipping or due to improper packaging or poor design issues.
