I purchased this brush 6 years ago and it’s still going strong! I have tightly coiled kinky fine hair (some call it type 4) that tangles extremely easily. I’ve tried so many brushes but keep coming back to old faithful. I use it during my washing process to make styling/parting afterwards much easier. I haven’t lost a single bristle yet! Only reason I’d by another one is for sanitary reasons since there is an air pocket/cushion built in and I’m not sure what’s in there if anything. I do fully air dry it after every wash. One issue though is that the handle gets sticky with product after a while and it seems impossible to wash off so I got use to it.

Perfect brush for travel. Works just like the full size. Great for extension wearers. Gentle

This is my favorite hairbrush! I have above-the-shoulder fine hair and this is the best paddlebrush and I have used Denman brushes for years. I ordered this brush for my swim bag and realized through Amazon history that the same brushes I'm currently keep at my house and in my gym bag have lasted me both for well over 10 years. That is quality! The size is fairly compact compared to regular paddle brushes so I can easily throw it in my work bag or a larger purse. Because of the small head size it's also nice to use while blowing dry.

I like the brush for wet hair but it's not as good as my wet brush. I think it's too small to really blow dry well. It makes my fine hair staticy if I blow dry it too much.

Love this brush! It’s the same quality as the Denman small paddle brush I’ve had for over a decade. It perfectly smoothes my hair and the handle is comfortable to hold

I wanted a paddle brush for my fine, high density, curly hair, but every regular paddle brush I tried was too big for me. I’m so glad Denman makes a smaller version of their paddle brush. I use it after I put in my detangler/leave-in to halo with tangles. It does not pull my hair, and seems to be very gentle on it. I would recommend the smaller brush to anyone with shorter to medium length fine hair. I like it so much I bought a back-up, just in case, lol

I had an old Denman brush that I use every day. I wanted to get another one for when I traveled. I somehow ended up ordering 2 of them. It ends up, I’m glad I did. I put one downstairs in the powder room so I can check my hair before going out. I really like these brushes.

I love the feel and flexibility of the brush, but it has lost at least 1 of the nylon bristles which takes away from the value. I may just return it as defective.

Totally loving the hair brush . I have long and thick hair so this paddle brush is the right choice , it removes the tangles gently with not much hair loss . The only con is that it is an expensive brush.

The brush is just as described, well made and it is a Portable size. I would recommend product.
