Expect to turn into a child again and constantly run your hands under the hot and cold taps! The blue is a lovely colour and when its colour changing the ombre effect it has on my nails looks amazing. Definitely would buy again UPDATED Ok so I probably wouldn't buy again. Within 4 months of purchasing 2 of these both have lost their ability to colour change. My BF's sister bought 4 of these as well so between us we have 6 different colours and all 6 have done the same thing. Considering the cost we're really not happy that this has happened

I have seen some people say these are fake, I already have one of these in a different colour which I bought in store so I can say these are definitely genuine. The problems with these polishes are the same with all of the colours in this range. The one I bought in store didn't change at first, nothing happened until the weather turned cold. They don't colour change like most thermo polishes either, the tips are always the same colour which is the colour when it's warm!? Weird right.. Anyway, despite the disappointing colour change I really do like the polish. It's very durable and looks like gel polish. I don't know where the matte finish has come from because mine are all glossy. They are watery so you need 3 coats but they do dry super quick. Actually the best polish I've ever used for drying time. For these good reasons I decided to buy 2 more colours, they didn't have these shades in store so I got them on amazon. A hot minute doesn't change to blue, at least I can't get it to. It just seems to go from mid purple to a lighter purple which is a shame. You're so fire is not burgandy which I was really hoping for. Its a dark purple but does colour change dramatically to a nice blue. I'm disappointed about the burgandy as that was why I chose that one but I do really like the purple shade it actually is. Purple is my favourite colour anyway so I love the shades of these even if they aren't what I expected. Having said this I have never tried these with the base or top coats, maybe with those the colours would look different? I still think they're very pretty and they are long wearing. I have long nails which are always in water so polish barely ever lasts a day for me but these don't chip until after 4 days of wear. I only dropped one star because of the colour difference as its not as described by nails inc, but still very lovely colours anyway.

I used a base and top coat with three layers colour, two would be fine, goes from a leaf green to a very satisfying inky dark green/blue, no chips so far, three days of dog leads and washing up

I have to say I'm very disappointed, I expected it to be a little different from seeing it on my phone, but its the palest blue imaginable, so not much change when my fingers warm up or go cold. Buyer beware, Update: Having forgotten that I'd order more from this brand on a different website, when it came it was a nice blue when warm, turning to a lovely purple when cold, when I first applied it I didn't use a base coat, and all the next day when ever I touched my hair or picked something up, the coloured nails pinged off, as if I'd got the Barry M peel off base coat on, and when you take you varnish, powder or gels off, they peel of so well, but I'd not used it, and they pinged if left right and centre. I redid them yesterday, using the peel off as a base coat, and they've all stayed on apart from which pinged off when I was lifting the washing basket up, so I'm not sure why they ping off, but they maybe ok for one night, but at the moment they last a day, I've used different makes of rhe colour change paint on nail varnish and they didn't ping off, they stay a week before they started to chip, and with the peel off base coat was quick and easy to get off with no damage to my nails, works under gel nails and powder nails too.

Nice colour but very different to the product image on the listing!!!!!

I have been purchasing Nails inc products for some years & I have always found the nail polish to be very good & although some may think it’s expensive I would say it is very much value for money. I have never tried the colour change ones until now & therefore I did just the 1 nail to see what it would look like & also to see if it actually works & as seen in the pictures it really does colour change. I had run out of base coat so I borrowed some clear Revlon top coat from my granddaughter & used that as the base coat & top coat & as you can see it looks rather nice. And like all Nails inc polishes it goes on very nicely & gives a professional looking finish on the nails. Excuse the smudges around the finger nail on the skin I have tremor’s in my hands. I would highly recommend this nail polish if you are looking for something a bit different.

The application shade of pink is nice but otherwise I'm quite unhappy with the product. The colour change doesn't work as described nor does it go yellow at all and the nail varnish is very watery not is it super durable

Dries fairly quickly but requires at least three coats in my experience. Nice teal colour when warm, cools towards black.

I got the blue one as well and that works very nice, but on this one nothing really happens. There must be something wrong with it, since judging after seeing the pictures and video, it clearly works for others. Not even hot and cold water have no noticeable effect. There is some very small change, but i can hardly see it even with good light on. It's still nice color and seems to be good quality, shame that the colors change don't happen as on the pictures from other customers.
