Pleasantly surprised.
I wasn't quite sure if I would be pleased with this home unit, but I am. My first question concerns the cross member bar that was added for structural support. It is in the way of a smooth motion when lifting if you are someone that prefers to back into and under the weight bar. Your calf muscles will be touching the cross bar and you will not be directly under the bar unless your posture is straight up. It just does not feel right. If you face the rack, there is no problem. The cross bar would be best serving if it were placed on the floor under the triangular supports with adjusting knob facing up of course. This looks like an easy modification if you are someone that is power tool friendly. The steel tubing is light and will take little effort to drill through. A drill press would be best for straight drilling to the opposite side of tube for bolt length. The structure of this unit is sound and strong. No wobbling or shaking on my carpeted floor. This is a light weight unit and is best used for those of us that are not power lifters. My needs will be less then 200lbs. The cross member bar measured from the top of bar to the floor is 14-1/2in. I was worried that my bench would not fit over the cross bar, but things worked out great. If your bench has a raising back rest and the legs of your bench fit under the cross bar you are in luck. Simply raise the back rest of your bench, slide legs under cross bar and lay bench back rest on cross bar. Your in business. This will give you the support you need for performing bench presses. The drop rack/curl bar rest is fixed but is just right for my arm length and is not a problem. I would have liked them being adjustable but what the heck. This unit cost less then $100. and is the perfect size for my office/gym room. I am pleasantly surprised and pleased. I would recommend this product to anyone who is a beginning weight lifter or someone just looking to do a little strength training.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn't be happier with my squat rack! This piece of equipment has taken my home workouts to a whole new level, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer. First and foremost, the build quality is outstanding. The squat rack feels incredibly sturdy and stable, providing me with the confidence to lift heavy weights without any wobbling or shaking. The materials used are of high quality, ensuring its durability for years to come. The design is well-thought-out and practical. The adjustable safety bars and J-hooks allow for a wide range of exercises, making it not just a squat rack but a versatile home gym essential. Whether I'm doing squats, bench presses, or overhead presses, it accommodates all my lifting needs. Assembling the squat rack was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary tools were included, making the setup process relatively quick and hassle-free. The safety features of this rack are a major plus. The adjustable safety bars provide the perfect safety net, giving me the confidence to push myself during my workouts without fear of injury. This is particularly important when working out alone at home. The space-saving design is another aspect that I love. It doesn't take up much floor space, making it ideal for home gyms with limited room. Plus, it's easy to move around if needed. I appreciate the attention to detail in the construction. The rubberized feet not only ensure stability but also protect my floor from any potential damage. Overall, this squat rack has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a robust, versatile, and safe piece of equipment that has transformed my workouts. If you're serious about weightlifting and looking for a reliable squat rack for your home gym, I highly recommend this one. It's worth every penny and then some!

(Edited after 2 months) - small changes can make it standout
Updated after 2 months Not bad for 140 USD BUT, Small things that have been cut out to save costs stands out over use. 1- the bar below that connects the left and right hand side pillars has one screw to hold them together. Often this bows the whole rack front to back. Using two screws would have eliminated this and made it sturdy. When working with weights, that little bit of feeling safe goes a long long way. 2- if you keep this outside, beware. It rusts very quickly. Like in a day or two if there is even a mild rain. A bit of antitrust coating would have been better. 3- the rubber pads on the spotting arm was a good idea but, the glue does not hold very well. (Original review) Nothing fancy. It’s a squat rack that doubles up as a bench press. Feels sturdy, easy to assemble and serves the purpose. If I nitpick, I can say the bar that connects both sides could have been adjustable. I have a exercise bench and it cannot decline much as it hits the bar that connects both the legs but that’s to be expected as the bench was from a different brand. All in all, worth the price and safe and secure for workouts for medium weights under 100 kg

Great beginner/budget rack
I bought this rack several years ago and have waited to see how it holds up over time before writing this review. After all this time I can confidently say that it does what it's supposed to do well. It can handle any weight a beginner/intermediate lifter can throw on it. I've had 315lb on the upper holders and mid/high 200's on the lower holders (with absolute confidence it can hold far more on the lower holders). It would be more useful if I were to point out potential issues you might encounter after use. My first main issue was that it does not adjust wide enough. The adjustable beam between the two vertical "posts" only has so many lockable adjustment points. I'm a tall guy (6'2" with long arms) and when I squat, I have a very wide grip on the bar. Even on its maximum width I felt very cramped and was constantly hitting my elbows on the vertical posts as I reracked. I eventually just unscrewed the pin that holds it in place and pulled the two posts apart to my desired width. The middle brace still holds together, it just does not lock. The second issue is more of a learning curve. Squatting with this rack will be a bit odd at first if you're used to more traditional squat racks. When getting under the bar, the horizontal beam will most likely be up against your ankles. Reracking can be a tad unnerving at first when trying to place the bar in the tiny holders on the upper position. Lastly, I have the vertical posts adjusted to the maximum height and I still have to stoop a little to get under the bar (combined with the horizontal beam hitting your ankles, it can be weird at first). These might sound like nitpicks, but they're worthwhile to mention for my fellow taller lifters. All in all, this is an excellent beginner rack. It's sturdy and space efficient. For the price, it's an excellent investment, able to stick with a new lifter all through the beginning/intermediate phases of progression.

Decent product, but worth reading the review before purchase.
For the price, the product isn’t a bad deal. There is however a few things I think are worth knowing before purchase. Assembly: Pro: Super easy, super simple. You can have it assembled in under 30 minutes. No tools, no problem. Assembly is a lot faster with a ratchet wrench however. Con: the material looks nice and of decent quality, but it bent and deformed very easily when tightening. A little disconcerting, but probably not much of a big deal. Versatility: It advertises as useful for squats and and bench. Sure, it can be used that way, but it’s not as perfect as it seems. I haven’t yet tried it for squats, but it was kind of annoying for bench. When doing a flat bench press, I had to maneuver my bench in a way that accommodates with the yellow bar. Once in place, I realized setting the bar at the top rack was a bit too high up for me. So I had to use the lower handle. It wasn’t too comfortable and i can foresee many people having difficulty with the limited options of placing the bar. If working around this issue, I highly recommend a spotter. When doing incline, I found it impossible. So is it a good product? Yeah, for the price. Is it as versatile as it seems? Not exactly.

Good Budget Space Saving Squat Stand Rack
This is a good budget space saving squat stand rack. I have limited space in my garage, so this was the perfect option (I can't fit a power cage and had only 18-inches of clearance behind my truck). It took less than an hour to assemble (having a socket wrench helps) on my own. Is this the most stable squat rack? No it isn't, nor should you expect it to be for less than $100. I'm not trying to bench or squat 400 pounds off this thing. For the price point, it will allow me to barbell bench, overhead press and squat a decent amount of weight (100 to 250 pound range) with decent stability and safety. It comes with weight plate holders and changes width and height relatively quickly. I was even able to add a landmine attachment that fits perfectly. I was nervous the stability bar would get in the way of unracking for squats, but it does not. If you have the space for a larger squat stand or power cage with greater weight capacity, I would skip buying this. However, this is perfect given my current space constraints. Do what you can with what you have.

FANTASTIC Product
Fantastic Product for the Price. Good quality material. Easy to assemble. Some give the product only one (1) star as I think they are expecting Professional gym quality for approximately $100. I would not want to be racking 500 pounds on this rack, BUT, for a home gym for lighter usage, it is WAY MORE than adequate. If you want Professional equipment meant for a retail gym, then expect to be spending 5 to 10 times as much. Some reviews say that they could deform the pieces by tightening the bolts too much. I say "good for you tough guy". The bolts are heavy duty and even I could deform the square stands if I used over sized wrenches. You get what you pay for, and in this case, you get a good deal. RECOMMENDED

Excellent Value Squat Rack – Sturdy, Affordable, and Easy to Assemble
At just $99, this squat rack is a great value for money. For home use, it’s more than sufficient — the build quality is solid, and it’s very sturdy during squats and bench presses. I’m 181 cm tall and can use it comfortably for all my basic lifts. One thing I really appreciated was how simple the assembly process was. The instructions were clear, and I was able to put it together quickly without any hassle. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It delivers exactly what I needed at an affordable price. A great buy for anyone setting up a home gym.
