I was looking for the all cloth quilted ones from long ago. I went with these instead and really like them. They are thin enough to let me grab my pans easily, but I feel no heat. When food gets on them I will be able to rinse them off.

These are a very soft, pliable oven mitt and it is not difficult to grasp hot pans. I always used cloth mitts, until now. These are great quality. I would definitely recommend

they work as a typical mitt, however they are short. the picture makes them look as if they go past the wrist. they do not. if you don't care about how far up your hand they go, then these are fine. if you want something that goes well past the wrist, these are not for you.
