Awesome, but didn't need this big of one
This item is great. I purchased it for my husband and it arrived so fast he didn't realize what it was. Knowing what we know now the 10" would have been more than enough. He is a bigger guy and this is wider than he needs, but still works like a champ.

Dull on arrival, but overall great value.
Seems decently made considering the price. Came quite rough and dull, so I spent a good hour on the whetstone honing it. Took an edge quite nicely, but it doesn't hold that edge as well. Honestly though, considering the price I think it's great for someone like me that will only use the tool infrequently. I use it to shape handles of all kind, such as resetting axe, sledge hammer, pickaxe handles, etc.

Seems to be well made
I like the sharp blade and the good feel of the handles. Hope it lasts for many years and I think it will.
