Good lense, terrible lense case design.
I gave this 5 stars because I didn't want to discourage someone else from purchasing it based on my opinion of it. So here goes. The filter seems like it produces reasonably good results and the price is great compared to the PMPP edition II mist filters. However, I love the PMPP filter (no, not because it's got Pete's name on it.) they really do produce excellent results. To me it's worth the extra $$. My biggest issue with the Freewell filter is the storage case/lense cap situation. Basically it's terrible compared to the PMPP edition II lenses. I do really like the Freewell magnetic lense cap! However the fact that I can't put the filter in the case with the magnet lense cap on is enormously annoying to me. On the other hand the PMPP edition II lense cap/case situation is just awesome and is actually a pleasure to use. Not to be disrespectful but the genius that approved the freewill case design should be... Well you get the point. To me it's a big enough deal that I'm sending it back for a refund. And I'm going to spend 250 on the PMPP mist. If you don't think the case/lense cap will irritate you then I would say buy the Freewell. Freewell....please fix this issue - make the case a little bigger!

Same quality as polar pro just have the price
Honestly best value for your money with these. I’ve used the Polar Pros before as well and they feel like they are same thing if I’m being honest just double the price. The widest lens I have only goes to 24 but I can’t see any vignetteing or cross polarization’s on either the 2-5 or 6-9 even at max nd’s maybe at like 16 it might show up but I can’t say for myself. Save the money and get these. Also the mist I think is closer to the 1/8 it says it has in my opinion than 1/4. It feels like videos make it look very diffused on YouTube but I don’t see quite as much halation personally.

I got the plastic case, not the aluminum case.
Mine came with the plastic case and not the nice aluminum hard case. You can see in the pictures that the filter moved around a lot during shipping. The filter is fine and looks great! Might have to go with PolarPro from here on out though. But the Freewell mist effect has more of the look that I want! Decisions, decisions..

Won’t fit lens hoods.
It’s a good filter. Great design except for one thing. The filter won’t allow you to have a lens hood. If you don’t mind that then this is a great product. However I need the hood on my 70-180mm. So, I had to return it but I won’t knock off more than one star.

Love this thing.
Best filter I ever purchased. I keep it on all the time, the mist isn’t overwhelming to me. That is why I keep it on and it’s a good VND.

Good ND filter
I wanted a ND filter that can give me a few F stops and after researching a few ND filter I read this brand had a lot of good results for the price. This is way cheaper then some of the other brands and so far I like it.
