Solid vegan-friendly iron supplement
I've been using Pure Encapsulations OptiFerin-C for 5 years now and it's been a great iron supplement. It's gentle on the stomach, has vitamin C to help with absorption, and it's clean — no gluten, GMOs, or unnecessary fillers. If you're vegan or can't tolerate animal-based products, this is one of the best options out there. That said, if you can take animal-based supplements, I personally think beef liver supplements are even better. They don’t just have iron — they also naturally come with a ton of other nutrients your body needs, like vitamin A, B12, B-complex, zinc, copper, selenium, and etc. All of it is in a whole-food, highly absorbable form. Still, OptiFerin-C is a solid pick if you're looking for a vegan or non-heme iron option that works. It’s helped me keep my iron levels up without side effects, and I’ll keep using it.

Definitely work, good quality, bonus sleep aid
i found out i was possibly iron deficient by telling a nutritionist about my tomato cravings and she said that's a classic sign in women, esp menstruating or pregnant. all i can say is, one week i'm drinking bloody maries like they're water, then if i take these the cravings disappear, so i know they're working. that wasn't the case when i took vitamin C alone. they don't upset my stomach at all and actually make me a bit sleepy so i take them at night.

Great product!
Solid product…would absolutely recommend! Took my blood levels from several anemia to WNL within 6 months. Love that Vit C is included! Never had any negative side effects from this form of iron!

Effective supplement with noticeable results
This iron supplement was recommended to me by a healthcare professional, and I’ve now purchased it twice. My lab tests show that my iron levels are improving, so I feel confident it’s doing what it’s supposed to. The capsules are small, easy to swallow, and have no aftertaste. I usually take them on their own and try to pair with a food source of vitamin C for best absorption. The price feels fair for the quality, and I plan to continue repurchasing when I need to.

Decent Iron Supplement
I ordered these because my iron was a little low. I have been feeling more energetic since I’ve started taking them, but I hoped that they wouldn’t be unpleasant to take. I’ve had iron supplements that didn’t cause issues before, but these aren’t it. I take them right before bed, but I still wake in the middle of the night burping iron taste. That’s pretty typical, so know these aren’t buffered in any way.

Crashed Ferrtin? OptiFerrin-C can help (TRT Friendly)
If you’ve crashed your Ferritin by donating blood, and are looking for a way to increase your levels, this is a great product. TRT friendly. I was at 31, and within one bottle at 3 pills a day, combined with orange juice for vitamin C absorption, I was able to increase my ferritin to 151. I no longer have brain fog, have a hard time remembering things, or having a hard time getting words out.
