All items are stuffed with 100% Buckwheat hulls and come with removable cotton covers (white) By adding or removing husk from various chambers in the mattress, the level of firmness can be easily adjusted. Do you prefer a more supportive padding in the neck or head area? This mattress makes adjustments to your personal comfort very easy. The buckwheat mat is rather firm and supports a stable position of the spine. It can prevent head, throat and neck aching as well as other sleep disorders. Naturally, this mat is also perfect for meditation and massage therapy. The chamber system of the mat ensures ideal air circulation, which supports the natural characteristic of the buckwheat hulls regarding temperature-regulation. For this reason, this mat is especially popular with people who suffer from excessive sweating. The mat is easily rolled up and stored away. It can be rolled out directly on the floor or over another mattress. We pay great attention to the sustainability of our products: If, after years of use, the buckwheat filling loses some of it's quality, it is easily refilled. The high quality ticking as well as your chosen cover scan be used for countless years. Due to the sturdy quality of Buckwheat-filled products they are rather heavy. Worth every penny! *by H***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2017* LOVE IT!!!I had an uncomfortable sleeper sofa that was beautiful to look at and of the size i wanted, but horrible to sleep on. I could not get any rest, no matter what I tried to equalize the raised ridge in the middle and the bad quality foam it was made of.This GREAT buckwheat mattress arrived much earlier than announced and fixed my problem! I am using it as a mattress overlay on the folded-out sleeper sofa, and when I want to use the sofa as a loveseat, I just roll up the futon mattress and stand it up in a corner, which is recommended anyway to fluff up the filling once in a while.I sleep like a log on this buckwheat futon mattress! It's firm, yes, but slightly contours to my body and feels very therapeutic to sleep on. It came with a sturdy cotton slip cover and a bonus pillow with slip cover, which is an added joy to sleep with. I am a belly sleeper and use a pillow to support my upper body so my head can turn to the side while sleeping. This whole set has been life changing for me!! Thank you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2019* Great product, helps with my back pain. I can go days without back pain, when before it was a daily constant pain. Also haven’t had pain in my neck either with the pillow. Some people complain of crunching sound, it does not bother me. Simetimes fluffing it at night is a second nature as well. I love both. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixed my back *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2020* Since purchasing this mattress topper, all of my back pains have gone away. I have used it on the floor and it’s quite firm but still nice. I do wish it was a Queen size --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/27249447-handelsturm-futon-set-mat-pillow-with-buckwheat-filling-and-removable](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/27249447-handelsturm-futon-set-mat-pillow-with-buckwheat-filling-and-removable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
