Great mouse, very quiet/silent, pairing is a pain - but here's how
Doesn't work well on white surfaces. My Microsoft Bluetooth mouse I was replacing had no issues with white - I believe the MS mouse used a blue laser and this one is red. This is a great mouse, though. I like the silent feature, though. Clicks and the scroll wheel are nearly completely silent. It's comfortable to hold, a good size to carry with me while I travel (slightly larger than the MS mouse referenced above, which is a positive thing for those of us with larger hands). I use rechargeable batteries and always keep a spare set, but it doesn't seem to go through them very often. The mouse just suddenly dies, though - it'd be nice if there was an indication that the batteries are getting low, but at this price point I'm not complaining.Frequently I'll lose connection with my PC. Not sure if this is a PC issue or a mouse issue, but either way it's easily resolved by pressing the DPI button on the mouse (waking up the mouse with any other button doesn't seem to establish the connection again).HOW TO PAIR: I "lost" (read: threw away) the pairing instructions after owning this mouse a few months. Like another review said, you'll forget how to pair if you do what I did and not file the pairing instructions away in your handy-dandy filing cabinet. But unlike the other reviewer, I plan to tell you how to get the mouse in pairing mode! You simply hold down the left click, right click, and scroll wheel click buttons for 3-5 seconds until the LED starts flashing (note: the LED is next to the forward/back buttons on the side of the mouse). That's it - then you need to do whatever your OS needs to do to pair it. On Windows 7 that entailed opening up Bluetooth devices and selecting "Add device" with the mouse in pairing mode - and even that took a few attempts. Hope this helps!

Really Can't Beat For The Price! Great Bluetooth Mouse!
Mainly bought this because I'm sick of having unifying receivers floating around when my laptop and desktop have Bluetooth built in and because of both the forward and back buttons. Ergonomic design is nice and as long as you read the setup posted on this page (which a few people have posted if you can't find it) it's easy to setup. Would be nice to have a side scrolling wheel, but for the price you can't beat it. On my aluminum mouse pad it felt a slight bit scratchy at first, but after some use went away for the most part, but I think that was mainly because of the texture of the mouse pad because only one of my other mice was really smooth on that pad right off the bat. Auto power down is nice, too and DPI control is easy to use. Working great so far! Recommend throwing rechargeable AAA batteries in it. Frankly recommend rechargeable batteries for everything especially if you can find Li-ion matching the voltage you need as it saves a lot of money in the long run and keeps environmental waste down. Got Rechargeable Li-ion batteries, D-size, for my mag light and they work great!

Worked for a month, then stopped.
Worked beautifully for a month, then quit working. It will connect, but the computer doesn't recognize any movement or clicking. Just that's it there. Tried multiple troubleshooting steps but could not get it going again. Bought a new mouse (different brand) and that one works fine. It's just this one that quit.

Mouse
This is a nice wireless mouse. Easy and fast to set up. Don't try to use it on a glass top table - it won't work. Needs to be on a surface for the optics to "see".

Very responsive and feels comfortable after hours of gaming. Just needs a low battery indicator.

Good feel and build quality, terrible daily use
I wanted to like this mouse because the build quality seemed surprisingly good for the price... At least until I tried to use it. It never goes into power-save mode which means your batteries are dead within a day if you forget to manually shut it off. It won't stay connected to my Windows 10 machine unless I leave the "connection options" screen up at all times. And the key command to pair it via bluetooth is so weird that once you lose the manual, you'll never remember how to re-pair it.Pros:Solid look and feel. Buttons and wheels feel nice and are quiet.Looks decent.Cons:Kills batteriesConstantly loses connectionPairing button command is bizarre
