Parker Square Secret Night Box, The World's Best Engagement Ring Box

It's slim, as advertised. The leather is soft and has a wonderful color.The edges are cut flush, but reveal the lighter tone of the material on every corner.The inside is where it really fell short. There were crumbs in it (was this used?), which were easily removed.See photo for the oddly angled cut where I'm expected to put my 1.5ct diamond ring. It really does raise the ring as the box is opened (SO cool), but the experience is so much cheaper feeling than I'd expected, and a large band/stone really look silly in such a narrow pillow.The box is nice. It really is. The slimness and the light are reasons to still consider this box. The leather is beautiful. The hinge mechanism feels cheaper, and the thin felt bed for the ring are good. Good, but my great. If you're looking for something as top-notch feeling as an engagement ring, keep looking. Otherwise, be happy with this. It's cleverly designed and illuminated well.

The product itself is such a creative idea. I haven’t been able to find any box that is as slim as this one online and has a light as well. It is indeed really easy to carry around, and can be hidden easily. The best part about the box is that the light is carefully placed where the light can make the diamond shine as sparkly as possible. This isn’t the brightest box, but it definitely shows off the ring a lot better because of the positioning and the blue background.There are some minor improvements that should be made though. The leather is soft, but needs to be better cut and pasted. The box also should feel more hefty rather than so light. The opening mechanism of the the box feels a bit flimsy as well, and doesn’t stand when open. This would be solved if it had an actual hinge.Overrall, I do believe this box is the best in the market to carry around and hide.

It is not nearly as nice or bright as the pictures suggest. This box looks and feels like a cheap ten dollar box. My ring came with a free lighted box which is brighter and better than this $100+ box by Parker Square. Don't waste your money. This isn't worth the money. I sent it back to Amazon. First photo is the Parker Square vs the second photo of the free lighted box I received with the ring which the light is so bright that the photo didn't even accurately capture it. Pictures speak a thousand words...

My son shipped this engagement ring box to my house to hide until he was to propose on vacation. Even with all the sneakiness of hiding the ring and making reservations in far away Thailand the restaurant host all but gave it away with saying, "Oh, I have a perfect seat for you!" Later, I found out that his wife actually looked at his pocket a couple times for a ring box, when the host said that, but was sure he didn't have one. Well, this slim flat box was the only reason he was able to surprise her after months of sneaking and planning to have it almost fail the last hour. The box lifts the ring up into an upright position and has a little LED light that shines down on the ring. It must have been so romantic.(I think you can hear a chorus of angels singing when you lift it open and the light shines down on the ring... such a Mr. Romance) This ring box made the proposal perfect!

This box was perfect!I needed very specific things in an engagement ring box, and this fit them all. The box needed to stay hidden in my pants pocket throughout dinner, so I needed something slender. This appeared to be a wallet when kept in my wallet pocket. I was proposing outside at night, so the LED bulb lit up the ring beautifully and made the diamond especially clear. I think those two aspects are appreciated by many, so I'll focus on the other two.The proposal was a surprise, so I wanted something that didn't look like a normal ring box. Earlier in the day, I had told my then-girlfriend that I had bought her a charm for her charm bracelet, so when she saw the box, that's what she thought she was getting. This was important because I wanted to her to remember all the romantic things I was saying, and knew that the moment she saw the ring, or knew I was proposing, she'd get excited and not hear a word I said (this ended up being true). So she was absolutely stunned when I opened the box and her ring was inside.The other aspect was the lack of name branding on the inside of the box. I had received a beautiful ring box when I had purchased the ring, but on the interior of the box was the jeweler's name in large letters. I didn't feel like turning my proposal into an advertisement. I appreciated that this box was simple, beautiful, and focused on the ring itself.Altogether, a perfect box for any low-light or surprise situation! Customer service was amazing; there was some slight damage on the original box I received, and they shipped another instantly and kept in contact with me throughout my proposal.
