Quick one minute install and works great
I own a duplex and did not want to pay for two separate internet plans. I have the wifi router in one duplex and purchased this extender and installed it in the furthest corner of the second side of the duplex and it works great. Its super easy to install and I was done with the setup within a minute. The device works great and the signal is strong all throughout the house.Instructions: Take device out of the box, plug the device directly into the power outlet, wait for it to blink red then hop on your phone and connect the device to your primary wifi source, choose your password for the extender and you're done.

Easy Set-up and Good Performance
The extender works well. Using a router with a WPS buttgn setup is simple. Press the WPS button on the router and then press the WPS button on the repeater within 2 minutes. That is the complete setup. The instructions say router and repeater must be in the same room for setup. I had them about 10 feet apart in adjacent rooms and there was no problem. At the router-extender distance and through two walls download speed dropped about 15% through the device. I am using it only to connect a VoIP system to a router and it is quite adequate for that purpose.Time will tell how durable the extender is, but about $39+tax it need only last 8-12 months to be worth the money.I have now (April 15, 2022) had the extender for about 9 months and there have been no problems. It just keeps chugging along. I can still strongly recommend it.

Not worth $50. Look elsewhere. You get what you pay for. Disappointed.
The Rockspace wifi repeater does what the description says it does. It increases the range of the wifi. Works great on cell phones and laptops. HOWEVER, if you are streaming anything, forget about it. I have the repeater sitting on the first floor, halfway between my router on the 2nd, and the dead zone in the basement. I purchased it to increase the range for my Playstation 4 and I am very disappointed. I gave it about a week. The major problem it has is that it works and then it doesn't. I repeatedly lag out, time out of in game matches, party chat with friends, and spotify. Imagine being in 1st place of an intense match and then everything stops and says "Lost connection to the server".. bruhhhhh. I wanted to throw the repeater out of the window. Basically any action using the network cuts off. At least once every 45 minutes to an hour. It is so frustrating. I changed my DNS server, turned all other devices off of wifi possible, switched between 2.4GHz and 5GHz and nothing seems to fix my issue. Running an internet speed test on my phone works fine, avg speeds are 60mbs download and 30 mbs upload. Then for the PS4, they're like 45-60mbs download and 3.8mbs upload.... what?? I sit in the same spot using my phone vs the system and get drastically different numbers. At the end of the day, the rockspace wifi repeater can only handle small usage devices. If you're thinking about using it to stream Netflix, YouTube, anime, shareplay then forget about it. Lag is too high and connectivity breaks on a whim. Very dissapointed. I even contacted their support for a claim and haven't gotten an email back in 2-3 days. Very professional-- SIKE. Going to try and return it to get my money back, otherwise I'm out $50.
