Really good filter!
I've gotten a lot of use out of this and it has worked well. I initially got it for our baby water turtle and it kept the 20 gallons of water crystal clear. I now use it on my 20 gallon fish aquarium and it has worked quite well still for the most part! It's nice that it comes with the extra attachments so you can make a little waterfall if you choose. It's easy to assemble the little extras. Seems like a really durable and nice filter!

Very Efficient - Very Quiet
Love this filter! I have two in two ten gallon tanks. They work really well and I can’t even hear that they’re on! Highly recommend

Good little filter
I purchased this filter to help clean the water I have in small fish tanks and it does the job well. For my usage, I cut the filter into 1/2" segments so that I could also add a carbon filter into the canister, and no issues there. The tank is nice and clean and the fish are super healthy. The only challenge I had was the bottom portion kept coming off, but a simple rubber band held it together. For the price, great little filter.

No good
If you need this as a filter for a small tank , Does not work well . It would have not a strong enough flow at some points, other times too strong , and others not move water at all and this is all with you not messing with it , it would do it on its own , also doesn’t work well at agitation either , even with the attachments provided, would get a film on top of water with low flow and high flow

its ok, but the air bubbler is bad
had this for my quarantine tank. It stop working altogether when it decided to pop open. when it does work its great, very quiet, and powerful. when it decides to not work, primarily the air bubbler, you will have to take it out, dry it, and literally blow into the tube to the air flowing again. its cheap, so you get what you paid for. i would not recommend this if you are trying to actually make a display tank. it does the job for a quarantine tank.

I needed to move water in my aquascapes. This does exactly that.
Super cheap but doing exactly what I need it to do: moves that water throughout my tanks. I built 7 full eco/aquasystems like you can find YouTubers doing (my fav is MD Fish Tanks!) and I'm having great success! I have several of the smaller filters, and one slightly bigger. The bigger one REALLY moves water a lot and have it turned completely down (i.e. the little adjustment thing that closes/enlarges the flow opening.) In fact, all of them are turned completely down. They really put out some power. I think I paid like $12 or so for the smaller ones and $16 for the bigger one... and for that price if they last a year I'll be happy and even buy them again. This was in 2023.Cleaning... well... once my tank was established (a month?), I haven't had to clean them. I probably should once a month or two! Maybe it's a little pain, but to be fair, any such style filter would be. The way the filter housing "clamps" onto the unit does seem a little cheap and really all they would need to do to fix that is make them snap in better/harder/tighter. But they have not fallen off (yet), so no worries. Maybe I could slightly melt or reshape them if it becomes a problem. If you are building a fully planted eco/aquascape like those YouTubers, then this one does the trick. No filter (except what's inside these ones, so stuff doesn't clog the propeller.) No water changes. I just top them off.Oh yeah - the suctions cups that hold these to the wall are so strong that they actually pop OFF the filter when you try to remove the filter pump for cleaning. You have to put them back on every time! Maybe that's the other CON, along with needing a tighter fitting filtration housing. I still gave it 5 stars - these things don't bother me.

Great product, great service
I have used a few of these filters over time and I really like them. They are effective, have good flow, and are easy to clean. My most recent order showed me how good the company's service is. One of the filters had been packed with two of the same elbow fixtures, instead of the two unique elbows needed to attach the spray bar. (First time that has happened with multiple purchases of this product.) If I hadn't used these in the past, I would have been confused and frustrated. Instead, I sent them an email with a photo asking them to send a replacement elbow. They responded quickly and said they sent it. Two days later, I got the package, and it had a WHOLE NEW FILTER set, not just the elbow I needed! Great service! And yes, the new one had the correct elbows.

Just don’t!
Filter can barely keeps a 5 gallon tank with three fish in it clean. I will say the fish do love the waterfall feature.
