I use this color just on my roots.. If you don't want orange always get a product that says golden. It is very true to color

Great coverage and conditioning too. I choose this shade because sections of my hair were white/ faded yellow look and the sides still were a golden blonde. I used it to blend it all together! Although it’s a bit darker than expected I do like the results. Next time I’ll choose a lighter ash shade!

I had a complete hair dye disaster recently—a bad box kit turned my hair a very dark brown with awful orange and red streaks running all through it. I originally wanted a light, natural brown. I tried stripping it first, but that just fried and dried my hair out terribly without fixing the color, so I abandoned that route. Desperate to fix the brassiness, I saw the L'Oréal Paris Cool Supreme 6UA hair color and decided to give it a try. It really did neutralize my hair wonderfully, and all those harsh orange and red pigments are completely GONE! It did turn out a bit darker than I would have originally liked, but honestly, what was I to expect—it's an ash tone, and ash always deposits deep and dark at first. Overall, it saved my hair from looking brassy and chaotic. Just keep in mind that the ash pigments pack a punch!

Excellent product. I haven't been coloring my hair for a long time but was tired of how washed-out white hair makes me, so I tried this one and wow! Such a nice natural color with highlighting built-in. Really happy with it.

Loved the color but can no longer get it. Amazon sent substitute that was a terrible color for me.

It does a nice job coloring but not the correct advertised color. Like other reviewers the Ultra Ash Medium Blonde 8.11 I used ended up being much more brown than blond. It's not a bad brown but definitely not what I was hoping for nor what was pictured. It's an easy to use product and my hair feels healthy and undamaged after using the it, therefore 3 stars but, I'm just very disappointed in the color...not even close to blond.

I now have my forever color. Since my divorve and lack of support ive had to dye my own hair. Hard lines and brassy. What a mess. I can not experss enough how amazing this product is. My hair came out better then any other dye i have tried. Not only the color but my hair is so soft my natural curls are bouncy and defined again. Just wow!

I'm a 67 year old redhead. If my color was grown out it would be white. LOL This color is dark, but soft with nice reddish gold tones. Suits me so nicely, it's not that horrible clown red. It's very natural looking. I hope it's on the market for a long time .

I colour my roots every 4 weeks. Love this colour! Great smelling conditioner. Gentle on hair.

I love these hair dyes! I have natural fine black hair and this is the only drugstore hair dye that actually lightens my hair and gives it a nice ashy not brassy tone. I cannot find these in stores in Canada anymore which is why I had to order it online. These arrived super fast and I am very happy with my purchase. P.S. I have ordered the set of 3 box dyes 3 times already. This tells you how much I love this product and I can't stop raving about it.
