Sudoku For Kids Paperback – August 13, 2015

Bought this for my 8 year old. He's smart, definitely math-minded, and I'm trying to keep him from getting bored in school. The great thing about this book is it starts super-easy with 4x4 puzzles, which allows the kids to learn the game and build confidence. They it goes to 6x6 puzzles, which is still not too difficult. Only after you finish those do you graduate to 9x9 puzzles, which are challenging for an 8 year old brain. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone, especially for $5.

My 10-year old grandson has expressed interest in Sudoku, but as a beginner, I knew he would find this hobby more enjoyable if he found success right away in learning. I ordered this book for him to learn the basics with 4 box 4 square puzzles and later go on to the common 9 box 9 square puzzles. There are lots of the simpler puzzles to complete. I am looking forward to time spent with him on this hobby I enjoy a lot. If he finds this is not his thing, I am sure his younger sister will enjoy trying them out. This is a good choice for anyone introducing children or anyone else to Sudoku.

Great starter sudoku book for my 9 year old. She appreciated that they started simple and progressed to more difficult puzzles.

The small Sudoku size was difficult for me to look at for a long time, but it is simple to use for elementary school kids.

We've only done a few puzzles so far, but I like it. I think it's good. I've done them myself as an adult, because getting my kids "into" them hasn't worked so far. This book has levels of varying difficulty, and I think it's a great starter -- for kids as well as adults.

My kindergarten-age grandson is having a great time with this. When I get out my sudoku book, he gets this one and we work puzzles together. As with most sudoku books, the puzzles get progressively harder. I think he will be working on this one for quite a while.

I ordered this for a 9 year old granddaughter. She likes to it and it’s easy enough she doesn’t get frustrated but hard enough to keep her interested.

The title includes "for kids," but I have done some of the puzzles myself. It is nice to start easy and work into the tough stuff. A lot of puzzles for a good price.
