i see it mention that this can be mounted on a tripod. Does it have a threaded hole for attaching to the tripod base?

I ordered this item because I also saw that picture, but there’s no way to attach to tripod : /

How do you use a laser level? Never used one.

Simply put turn it on, set it on something that you want to measure to/from. level it. the dot will land 1/2" above what it's sitting on. Subtract the 1/2" and bot items will be at the same height. Most have magnets, this one does not. Same can be don vertically.

How does this attach to the wall? Suction or does it have built in pins that pop down?

Don't be decived by the photoshopped image of it on a tripod. It will not attach to tripod. It does not have suction or pins to attach to anything. That said, great for the price.

how far does the laser go?

Laser Level Line laser distance is related to the brightness of the environment. Generally, it can reach 10 meters in the daytime. If the light is dark, it can be more distant, even 25 meters.
