Very good paddle
This is my first upgrade from the beginner paddles I bought when I first started playing pickleball a few months ago. I was reluctant to spend too much money on a paddle when I first started playing as I didn't know if it was necessary or if I would continue to play. Well, there is a clear difference between a beginner paddle that I spent $30 on and this paddle. While much more expensive, there is a clear difference in paddle construction and performance. The grip is very comfortable, the head absorbs a lot of high velocity impact and has a large, sweet spot. I've been impressed with it's durability, especially given the fact I'm still new to pickleball and not as proficient or efficient as better players. There is some forgiveness with this paddle, and it is LIGHT weight. I don't feel like I have a dead arm after playing with this paddle. I would highly recommend considering this paddle if you are looking for something above a beginner level paddle and a super high-end paddle.

Lives up to the Hype!!!
I’ve been playing for over a year, and on a good day, I feel I can beat anyone….ha!I love “equipment” and have purchased more than my share of paddles. One more expensive than this, and several, slightly lower priced.I can honestly say, this is my favorite paddle.I don’t work for Selkirk, don’t know anyone at Selkirk, haven’t rec’d anything for this review…heck, I even returned two other Selkirk paddles of equal value (different models). This is the BOMB!Control, power, feel, it’s light, and on the thicker side, and handle is shorter, which I prefer.FAVORITE!!!

Wife's Perfect Paddle!
Wanted to wait a while to write a review. Bought this paddle for my wife and she said that the handle is perfect for her comfortable and the weight is perfect. The overall paddle size area worked well for her improving her game. Prior to the Selkirk paddle she tried PROKENNEX Pro Flight Pickleball Paddle which was too light which resulted in having to put much more effort into swings and she ultimately returned the Prokennex. It all comes down to personal preference.

Light Quick Long Love it
I asked a guy how he liked this paddle while I was playing with him about a year ago, and he said he loved it and offered me to play with it a bit? Wow! it was love right away. I have bought an embarrassing amount of paddles the past three years now, and this one has my heart.I have the little longer version one and the lightweight one. Had it over a year now and recently had a 'too hard' of a "good shot" tap by a friend and dinged it pretty bad. So with that and all the play with it, it's pretty banged up after a year of hard play. I play almost everyday. So I just received my second one today, brand new, just out of the box, and it feels the same as my first one. Happy about that and ready to go whack some balls and see how it behaves. Feels like it will be exactly the same as the older one. I'll revise this if it is other than that, but it feels like a duplicate to my other, except it has no white mixed in with the blue color that I got both times now, which it even better as it should show less wear being all blue, probably. It's a five star paddle IMO. Each to their own though. It's the only paddle that I have bought two of back-to-back and it's slowed my embarrassing purchases of paddles too. Why break from a great love affair? No regrets! Zero - none - nada.Note update: This new paddle is just better than my old one of the same. I think my old one got a bit softer with all the play I do and the 'good play slaps' with partners paddles. I am going to try and not do hard paddle slaps with my partners so much anymore. Still, I see myself probably getting a new one after about 9 months just to be sure I have a proper paddle.

Selkirk paddle
They sent me a mid weight paddle, resulting in a heavier paddle. I was not able to pick the paddle weight or the grip size. I was also not able to pick color of paddle.
