Light Weight but Rugidly Built
The title says it all. Easy put together and very stable. Steps are nice wide tread with handrails for safety. I bought this for a senior library to assist residents to reach a 5.5 ft high book shelf.

A Great Step Stool
This is a great little 2-step step stool, It's solid and excellent to use. The side handles had to be bolted on, which was easy, and other than that it was ready to go when it arrived. No wobble and the handles are in just the right place. I can use this step stool with confidence. I consider it an excellent purchase

Better than most step stools but it could be sturdier. Grab handles & back rail inspire confidence.
BOTTOM LINE: There are a ton of manufacturers out there with all manner of step stools. This model, I felt, was one of the better ones. It went together easy enough and has already had plenty of use. Feels solid enough that I hope it will be in service for years to come. But, as with almost anything, it could be improved. So... 4 STARSTHOUGHTS: Wife had one of those single step pre-molded jobs from Rubbermaid. One day I got up on it and heard a pop; one of its legs had cracked. Time to get a new one. I looked around on Amazon and elsewhere. Wanted something better and a little bigger that wouldn't take up too much space nor take too big of a bite out of my wallet. This little ladder from LUISLADDERS checked off all the boxes on my list. I was initially going to get the simpler model, but I reminded myself that my wife & I aren't getting any younger. One day we'll need the extra measure of security that the padded wraparound back rail & side rails offer. I've been tinkering in our basement, adding sound insulation and replacing several old fluorescent lights with LED units. While tackling those chores this little ladder has already won my seal of approval. However, I do wish it were a little more solid and beefy. It isn't exactly rickety, but it would be nice if the steel used were about half again thicker... but it is what it is. It folds & sets up easily enough, doesn't weigh much or take up much space when stored. I probably could've gotten something better, but it would have cost a LOT more. For what we need it for and for as often as we'll use it, it was money well-spent.

Sturdy lightweight stepstool
Nice sturdy 2 step step stool. Lightweight. Folds up easily. Handles on side for extra security. I can reach anything now in my cupboards.

This ladder is heavy for a senior citizen
I liked the fact that it had 4 steps and handrails at the top (sides and top). Three things that I did not expect were; it is made of steel which makes it heavy to move; the cross braces are weak and the ladder sways a little; the steps are more verticle and that causes your shins to press on the step above it.

The worst step ladder I have ever purchased
I bought this stepladder so that a buddy could use while helping me paint the ceilings at my house. He weighs 175 pounds. It was easy to put together, no need for instructions. But the ladder is VERY dangerous. I was using a step ladder that I got from Costco which was a Cosco brand. I am 300 pounds, but the Cosco ladder only holds 250... It still holds me. This orange ladder was supposed to hold more weight, but I got it for my buddy because he is older and the side rails will help with balance. The side rails were nice, but that is it. The ladder doesnt lock in place... The ladder wobbles back and forth... The ladder broke the 3rd time it was used. The first step of the ladder folded, like the letter V. My buddy fell off the ladder, but didn't hurt himself. So if you are looking for a ladder that checks all the marks for BAD, this is it. From now on, only brand name ladders for me... Werner, Louisville, Cosco, Little Giant... pay double, but you will be safe... I wish the Little Giant ladders were in stock. They seem to factory ship, and you need to wait weeks at a time. I got a refund from Amazon, but I had to hammer the step flat so that it would fit back into the box.

Finally a safer ladder
Very glad we purchased this ladder. It came quickly and in excellent condition. Will make cleaning ceiling fans, trimming the Christmas tree, etc. safer. Good product and would definitely recommend.

NO INSTRUCTIONS. Could have at least labeled the hand rails for left and right side.
After put together seems sturdy.
