I can easily remove my camera for handheld shots and quickly re-clip ...
This tripod has all the features I need as a photographer. I can easily remove my camera for handheld shots and quickly re-clip onto the tripod for steady shots. I especially like that it is sturdy despite being almost weightless and folds up compactly. It also comes in an attractive first-rate pouch. The swivel function of the head is also very smooth and adjustable. One neat design that I also appreciate is the ability to flip my camera 90 degrees for vertical shots - I can then effortlessly return to horizontal mode for regular shots. I highly recommend this product. As a traditional consumer, I dread buying items online, because I like the tactile experience. Therefore I share my thoughts whenever I encounter a commendable product. I hope you find this review useful.

Exactly what I was hoping for
This is a great tripod! Easy to use quick release that I just keep attached to the camera so I can quickly pop it on the tripod when I see the shot I want to get. Precise for aiming and doesn't shake or jiggle around like other tripods I've used. Folds into a compact and easy to carry size with an easy bag to store it in.The only thing I would say is that I wish it was about 6" taller when fully expanded, but then I didn't pay any attention to the full length when I was looking at descriptions. I did choose this one because of how compact it becomes when fully collapsed.Overall this is a great tripod, and a great price!

Decent tripod especially for the price.
Decent tripod, works really well and was easy to figure out how to use. Nice and light weight and the bag it comes with is easy to get the tripod back into. One word of caution, if it is windy at all do not put this thing up. Found out the hard way at Mt. Cook Village in New Zealand when a gust of wind blew the tripod over. Live and learn!

Solid enough tripod for the $ - Just not sturdy enough for my use
I bought this tripod to support the weight of a Bushnell Legend 20-60 80MM Ultra HD spotting scope. While it was able to support the weight of the scope (5 lbs) it could not provide a stable enough platform (in any kind of breeze) to view clearly at higher magnifications. I returned this tripod and purchased a tripod that had a metal head for a little more money. I got a great deal from Amazon on a Silk 340DX Tripod (Compact alloy travel tripod)

Great value for the price, I've had mine for almost a couple of years and works great.

Get what you pay for.
Tripod is okay, inexpensive, will be alright for light duty. Not sure how rugged it will be. When I removed the tripod out of the carry case and plastic bag, the level indicator was broken and in pieces.

As my first tripod I cannot compare it to another. Using it, it is well made, secure and sound. I will be backpacking with it, I suspect there are lighter models for quite a bit more money. This meets my needs and my budget.

Exactly what I expected and needed
Just what I expected it to be. Light and portable but still has great usability. I do mostly landscape and nature photography and videography and this has been an awesome tool. Light enough to carry but durable enough to stand up to the elements.
