For the price, I was worried that this bag was going to be cheaply made, but I was very wrong! The top is slightly elastic, and the drawstrings are a nice ribbon and slides very easily when pulled. It stays closed very well. This bag is also huge! It's great for oracle decks that are larger than your average tarot cards, because as you can see in my photos, both decks shown can fit inside the bag with plenty of room to spare! You could even fit the instruction booklet inside of it too, if you so desired. The velvet is very soft on the outside, and the inside material is soft too, with no rough seams or anything that could possibly damage your cards. If you're debating whether or not this is a good bag for storing your tarot cards, I'm here to tell you that this is an amazing bag for the job!

Very beautiful , good quality and size . This bag is home to my new tarot cards holds them nicely . You could use this bag for several things but this holds my cards nicely in my bag . Its soft and true luxury velvet color is rich purple so it's a winner !

I bought this for my Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck. The cards are very large but fit with room to spare. Nice velvet and beautiful purple color. I know I could have made this easily myself but the price is reasonable and the quality is good. I came back to see if they had a black one. This would make a lovely wrapping for a gift - a crystal or jewelry maybe.

Very nice! Bought 3 - one to hold my aging Tarot Cards and the other two to hold my Crystals. They are of good quality (and very attractive)! I have NOT had any problems with the ribbon draw ‘strings’ that another customer complained about and I have used them several times since purchase. The ribbons are attractive AND sturdy! If I find the need then I would buy these bags again. I think that they would have many uses - including holding a gift or holding party favors (birthdays, holidays, weddings etc etc... I'm sure this bag is lovely for holding tarot cards, but I purchased it to use as a dice bag for table top games. I like the fabric, it's not quite velvety but sort of like a cross between microfiber and velvet. The drawstrings are a nice satin and glide easily to close/open, and don't get lost inside the drawstring holes. I'd definitely buy it again
