I have been using this specific dog food for my German Shepherd that is 12 years old. She began to have a limp and moving slower so I purchased this joint health version of food. Within two weeks the difference was highly noticeable! She was very very active and the limp was gone. It appears that she was no longer stiff or sore in her energy level was noticeably higher. Reordered this many times. Great nutrition for my Lab. Just wanted to pass along that the last 2 bags had some kind of moth eggs in them. About 3 days after opening I'm seeing theses tiny moths flying out of the bag. Probably not an issue for the dog but they do get loose in the house.

I feed my dog nothing else. She’s a healthy older senior dog. And people swear she seems young other than growing gray. Her energy, eyes, teeth and bones are super healthy. Her fur has no problems and she rarely needs baths. If you have a dog w food allergies consult your vet. Bc lots of big brands have a mixture of meat bc of how they’re made in factory. I also mix a little water w wet food in her dry food to keep her hydrated and give her a bit of a treat. She’s a ridgeback, whippit mix. So keeping her bones healthy is very important bc she’s a taller, skinnier dog. She’s around 11-12. I adopted her as an adult and have had her for ten years so her age is up in the air.
