BonesBearings Reds Bearings (2 x 8 Pack)

Just got them today, and installed them into my new inline skate wheels (80mm/85A Hydrogens). I was impressed by the quality of the bearings compared to the SG5s I was running before. Only downside is they're made in China, but I knew that when I bought them.The free spin on these lasted about 30-60 seconds depending on how hard I spun them. This alone really impressed me compared to the SG5s (no duh). I will admit when my long-boarding friends told me to get these instead of the Moto Deluxes that I was very skeptical. But after discussing the prices, and the fact that the long-boarders know more than I do, I got these. Glad I went with their advice.There was only one box with 16 bearings instead of two boxes of 8 bearings. The box itself was very high quality and the sleeve was nice. Put theses in my circa 1979 roller skates and breathed new life into them. They are quality skates and had great bearings at the time but after sitting on a shelf for the past 10 years they were in need of some new bearings. I am very happy with these. They are smooth as butter and roll like a dream. if you have an older pair or need bearings these are an inexpensive upgrade that will make a big difference.

Great buy

I have several low end ($60-$80) longboards. These bearings at $10 a set, transformed my longboards and now they roll sooooo much farther. I would say swapping out the cheap, slow bearings that came with these boards with these Bones Reds at least doubled the functionality and value of my longboards.It's such a simple change to make too, unless you already have high end, expensive bearings in your longboard, I highly recommend these.And at $10 a set, I don't mind swapping them out every other season or so depending on how much I use the boards.

There is no understating how great these bearings are for price to performance. I've been using one set for six months with regular cleaning and care, and there's no breaks, breaches into the bearings, and not one wheel won't spin freely for under 30 seconds on a shove. These are great bearings on my longboard; they make the ride much smoother and less laborious.

Just all around solid bearings. I use them in quad skates. I've played around with more expensive bearings, but I don't find that the milling precision makes a big enough difference to be worth the leaps in cost. These are great bearings, and they're affordable.

Replaced the bearings on two new board i just purchased and the difference is night and day. Great product and an essential for any skater!
