Q: Is Dreft only for newborns? I really want to go back to Dreft for my 3 year old.

Nope, Dreft makes two different stages! Dreft Stage 1 is for Newborns, and Dreft Stage 2 is for "Active Baby." We use stage 2 for our toddler and it works great and smells amazing!

Q: Does this take out baby poop stains?

No it does not. The only thing that I found to remove those is Shout. Spot treat the stain with shout, then wash normally with Dreft.

Q: Is this the original scent or the new scent?

No, it is not the original scent. I returned a first order I made because it was not the original scent. I contacted the seller and was told they would re send the correct item, Original Scent Dreft. The second item I received was also not the original scent.
