These things don't last forever - make sure to replace yours before it disintegrates and gets sucked into the carburetor - obviously, that's what happened to mine during the last hurricane - generator kept running for days afterwards, but now needs a lot of choke to run. Not Honda's fault, the disintegrated air filter was >15 years old, very good product, but now I need to rebuild the carb.
