Great little lamp
The media could not be loaded. I’m happy with this lamp! I got a relatively small size and stuck it to the lid of the tank, and it lights up the tank well.It was easy to install and comes with a remote with lots of colour options. You can choose any of the colours to stay on, or you can choose different modes to have it cycle through all the colours. It looks good, has a nice and long adapter and is good quality. I also like that it can be put inside the water, or outside of the water, making it quite versatile.

Bio orb replacement
Bought this as the bio orb led went and I refused to pay for the replacement at £70,This has saved me a good amount and is actually brighter and better, plus it changes colour

Just a tiny flaw
The media could not be loaded. I bought the 28cm light to emphasise the blue from my German Rams - well the blue output is of such a low level the aquarium barely registered any change other than some surface plants had a blue tinge. The output from red only is low but white and green are brighter. The light itself is a doddle to install and use I have it suctioned up on the underside of a plastic tank hood there is no issue with the suction caps losing their grip - beam me up Scottie I say. The construction of the light is well done with the flaw being that each LED is too small with a limited light output. In comparison with my main lights that are 9 watts LED I estimate that these on white or green are less than 2 watts and the red and blue less than one watt output. The impact on a 30 gallon tank is about 3 lumen - so this light is ok for a small tank say one gallon. The attached photo is a daylight shot but it does show the fairly low output using white. I tried different positions in the tank on the glass above the waterline and below the waterline without too much difference. The plug was UK and incorporated the 240 volt to 12 volt DC transformer, very neat, the plug had a 6 inch pigtail ending in a round plug output that connects to the power lead to the light. Part way along the lead is the infrared receiver for the multi function remote control, each colour can be selected via the remote control and there is a press button on the receiver too to select the primary colours. The whole affair works well with no hitches, I would prefer more cost being put into the light output but the gizmos are a good selling point. I will be using the light as an auxiliary light and have the green light for occasional use when viewing the aquarium at night is pleasing with a dark background and green illumination of the aqua plants. Really the only flaw is the intensity of output would suit a small aquarium.

SUPERB LED LIGHT
The media could not be loaded. The suckers are really great (upto now). The light retains its last setting on power off so can be used with a separate timer.Lots of options and colours. I was hugely impressed with this product. The only criticism is that both sections of lead need to be at least 2m long. The power lead from the supply is around 300mm and the lead from light to controller is only about 1.5m maximum.

Easy to fit and does the job.
Arrived on time and was easy to fit to my tank, hot glued the brackets under the lid, nice remote control., working well and good options on what to control, on/off, brightness, colours and patterns of lights.

Not as bright as hoped
The light does everything advertised and is well made, the remote works and there is a large selection of colours and modes, but it’s just not bright enough to be the main lighting source.Ideal as a secondary light source to ad ambiance.

Great product with bizarre twist.
The media could not be loaded. The light itself is great and feels well made and is nice and bright. There are 2 minor niggles I have, though.Firstly, the sucker pads are rubbish and it regularly falls off into the water. The second one is both annoying but slightly amusing. As you can see in the video, the Sky Q remote does strange things to it, but only the volume and power controls. If you have this light in the same room as the telly with Sky Q, either keep the remote for the light handy, or if you're technically minded, cut out the existing infrared receiver and solder in an RF receiver which isnt affected by TV remotes (which use infrared).Otherwise, this is a great product at a very reasonable price!
