Will protect your loved ones
My mother accidentally took the wrong medication ended up in the hospital. I had your regular small pillbox since I have ordered this. Itโs been a great product. I havenโt encountered any problems then my aid gave my wife the wrong medicines. She gave her night medicines instead of day medicines I ordered another one of these products for my wife, so far working great I read it five stars

Great!! Wish we purchased sooner
We have not missed any meds since we started using this! This was recommended by our doctors to help remember multiple medications. The instuctions and set up were easy to follow. The clock and alarms are easy to set and the buttons are under the clear top so nothing can be changed unless the unit is unlocked and opened. The clock has a sleep mode, the display will turn off until next alarm or movement of unit to reserve battery. The alarm speaker is on the bottom but is still loud and the lights help grab your attention. The alarm and lights keep going in short intervals until the unit is tipped over to release dose. The pill door is easy to slide and access. We did have to remove the "Push" sticker on the top tab (used for opening the top of unit) as this caused confusion on how to get the pills out.The lock function works great keeping the dosage and clock buttons secure and is easy to access with the key.The unit is easy to fill. There are several different dosage wheels to select from. We get 7 days out of the 4ร per day pill selection. Depending on the time we refill meds we may get 6 and a half days due to how the sorter advances. **Once it reaches the blank it WILL keep advancing. It Will count the blank as a dosage time and throw off pill timing if you have any remaining that have been missed until you reset the wheel. They alarm does shut off after 20 min or so if you are gone during the scheduled time. The unit will still advance to the next dosage at scheduled time if you miss a dose. There is a small gap between the top and dosage tray. If the unit is not locked this gap gets larger and will allow some pill migration. We keep it locked and have not had any issue with pill slippage or migration. The battery has a slide to keep it closed. This has been fine with no issues for now however, I would like to see some sort of screw here as the batteries can easily be removed turning the unit off.Overall, this is a great unit for someone taking multiple medications. It has helped maintain independence and we would definitely purchase again.

Overall Good With a Few Minor Flaws
The good: 1) easy to use, 2) comes with six rings so you can sort pills based on how many times a day they are taken up to six times a day, 3) the box locks and the ring rotates based on alarms you preset, 4) easy for patient to get their pills. What I don't like: 1) the plastic isn't overly sturdy. If someone was desperate & strong enough, they can get into it, 2) the key is awkward in the lock so it is sometimes difficult to lock and unlock, 3) one of the pill slots is closed in. This designates your starting point on the ring. However, when it turns, it will stop on that slot and the caregiver must unlock the box and reset the ring so it will stop at the proper slots in the future, 4) even on the "high" setting, the alarm is barely audible. However, it does light up when the alarm goes off.

Brought several all stop working after 4-8 months
I have brought several of these to replace after one has broken. Iโve brought each one from Amazon and they all stop working in 6-8 months with the pill tray not rotating or showing error. I replace battery and that doesnโt work. Other customers have reported the same along with the inability to get ahold of the seller. I will try but based on my experience, I do not recommend.

Works great!!
Weโve had issues with remembering whether we medicated our child, and once they got old enough to start taking it themselves, they have accidentally taken a morning or evening dose twice in one day. To avoid any doubts and calls to poison control, this works great.

Makes med administration easy
We've been using this pill dispenser with my mom for about 6 months now and it is great! I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews but I haven't had any trouble with skipping or pills falling into other compartments. It makes a loud beeping sound when it's time to take medication and you just flip it over to dispense and make it stop. It has been very handy for organizing all her pills especially as more get added, and the paper wheel of times is very helpful when restocking it. I fill it about once a week. Do note if you take the batteries out the time will stay the same until you put them back in so you will have to reset the clock. But the battery compartment lid has a latch that doesn't usually come undone. Uses key to open to keep the other pills out of reach (two keys provided). Makes my life a lot easier, great invention! :)

Really tough setup, cheap dividers
I'm a tech person and this was a little tough to set up. The cardboard dividers are just that, little discs of paper that you fold and put in the unit to Mark time schedules. People are correct that pills that are small can fall under and around these dividers. Also, if you take more than one dose a day of medications, that cuts down on your total usage and you won't get 28 days out of this unit. Not real happy with the product overall, but trying it for my Mom who needs help.
