OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Spoon Rest with Lid Holder

I used to have a flat horizontal ladle holder for the stove, but never had a place for the lid, so I started looking for a combo and found a bunch of different ones. This one won over because it was comparatively small for the function, stainless steel construction, looking very thin and unnoticeable compared to alternatives but doing the job flawlessly. It also can be folded, but I always keep it open because lid holding is a huge plus for me. It doesn't flip over like other lid holding alternatives I had years before, extremely stable and looks clean, didn't rust. Highly recommend.

I like this and OXO as always continues to make good products with this being one of them. The lid holder works great and is an underrated feature when compared to just something you can rest a cooking utensil on. But this does both. The little divot by the lid holder not only helps hold it in place but catches the drip off from the lid. The the tray portion is small enough to not take up too much room but big enough that you could rest anything on it without trouble . Sometimes even 2 utensils at at time. I like that it is compact and that I can just throw it in the dishwasher. Its a good value for the money, is designed well, and light weight. The grips on the bottom keep it from moving around on the counter. I would highly recommend this over any regular utensil holder because it does both that well but also holds lids while cooking. No assembly required.

This spoon rest/lid rest does exactly what is said it does. Lol. The lid rest is sturdy enough to hold one of my larger glass lids with no issue. Easy to clean. It looks great on my counter. My utensil rest does have small dark specks that I can't seem to get off, no matter how hard I scrub... It's not a huge deal, but worth mentioning, I suppose. If there is any room for improvement, the rubber grip along the edge to help it from slipping around could go all the way around, rather than just being on the one side. I've seen people mention in their reviews they've been cut by the edges. I have cleaned mine a few times and I've never been cut by it. Overall, I like the product.

I love this thing. Having the lid holder, in addition to the spoon holder, is top notch. It has a nice non-slip on the bottom to help keep it in place. The only downside I have with its design is that the bottom edges are sharp, thin metal and I’ve almost sliced myself going to grab it, so I always have to be cautious about that. It would be nice is the metal was rounded or dulled down or covered in rubber, etc. But I would still buy this again over any other spoon holder if I ever had to!

I have used the silicone spoon rests in the past and had no issues with them. In fact, I wanted to replace some and had them in my cart, till I saw this - thank God for Amazon's recommendations. Initially I thought, $20+ bucks for a spoon rest? Why? I can always get something from T to the Maxx or use a disposable plate. I read the reviews (thankful to those who leave helpful feedback) and was sold on the customer who showed it could hold their Le Creuset lid. So I ordered it and tested it asap. Let me tell you, so far there are NO cons. 1. It takes heavy pot lids (see picture). I am sure that pot weighs more than some humans (joke) 2. Did not wobble at all during the entire cooking process. You know how you can be unsure about something and keep checking, hoping to activate superman/superwoman, it case it comes tumbling down. 3. I love the little drip tray where the lid sits, so that drains steam, and does not spill onto the counter 4. I love that it has a spoon rest (of course, that was the main reason I bought it) that can take maybe 2 spoons (ok...stretching it) 5. I love that it is dishwasher safe. Who has time to clean the nooks and crannies of this thing? 6. I love that it has a silicone base, so it will not scratch your counter. You can obviously tell, with these many points of mine, that this is a LOVE and a must have.

It solves the problem of that sweaty lid on the counter, and the spoon rest is generously sized to accommodate larger cooking utensils. It is stainless steel, so it won't break in an unfortunate accident, and it cleans up easily. I purchased another to have one on each side of my stove. They allow for efficient cooking at my stove in a lovely but small kitchen, and they support a lid as heavy as the lid of a 5.5-quart Staub Dutch oven. While it is more expensive than others, it is likely stronger and more durable. I highly recommend the product!

Love the lid holder part of this. Super convenient for cooking. I've put some pretty large lids on it and it's been very sturdy. Easy to clean

I have used the lid holder only once. It is a plus that this has it but I don't think it is really very useful except when you don't have much space where to put hot lids (and you are toast if you need to rest two lids). Otherwise, the spoon holder has enough space for two or three serving spoon, spatula, which is quite handy. It has a rubber/silicone antislipping base which works great and it can be washed easily by hand (although it is dishwasher safe). I definitely recommend.

It does hold a 10 litre pot lid without any problem. Only issue is the sharp edge of the stainless steel base. IAs a precaution I just file the sharp edge to blur it.
