OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Spoon Rest with Lid Holder

I like this and OXO as always continues to make good products with this being one of them. The lid holder works great and is an underrated feature when compared to just something you can rest a cooking utensil on. But this does both. The little divot by the lid holder not only helps hold it in place but catches the drip off from the lid. The the tray portion is small enough to not take up too much room but big enough that you could rest anything on it without trouble . Sometimes even 2 utensils at at time. I like that it is compact and that I can just throw it in the dishwasher. Its a good value for the money, is designed well, and light weight. The grips on the bottom keep it from moving around on the counter. I would highly recommend this over any regular utensil holder because it does both that well but also holds lids while cooking. No assembly required.

This has worked great for us. It gives us a nice sturdy spot to put our lids and spoons in the middle of cooking something. It holds lids very well; we've tried small, medium and large lids, and it did great with all of them. It's easy to clean, however, it is not spot-free stainless steel, so there are spots on it, even after cleaning. It's great that it folds up to be compact if you need to stash it away somewhere.

I recently gifted myself with a Staub dutch oven and specifically wanted a lid holder that can support this heavy piece. Even tho I love my current stainless steel spoon rest, this is the perfect 2-in-1 for me. I didn't realize how much I needed a lid holder! All this time, I've been setting down my cooking lids on limited space I could be using for something else! I immediately tested it with my HEAVY Staub lid...and I'm so impressed with how it doesn't tip over. It feels solid, folds down neatly, and has a rubber bottom to protect your surfaces and keep from slipping. Not the cheapest option but I'm a believer in investing a little more for things I know will be put to good use for a long, long time. Bravo (again) OXO!

I bought this to sit beside my stovetop to provide a place to set down spoons and other utensils and also pot lids. As others have mentioned, the edges along the bottom of the device were rather sharp. One wouldn't normally come in contact with the bottom edges very often, but I filed down the edges on mine. The device is a bit large as a spoon rest, but it also works well as a pot-lid holder. I haven't found the size to be a problem. Since the device is stainless steel, it won't break when dropped (and I have broken ceramic spoon rests). It is easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Seems to be a very good grade of stainless steel. Easy to clean. My wife loves it. This was a birthday present, and went beyond what she wanted. Very happy with this product.

Absolutely perfect. I use it every day.It even holds the heavy crockpot lid with no water mess all over the counter !

I have used the silicone spoon rests in the past and had no issues with them. In fact, I wanted to replace some and had them in my cart, till I saw this - thank God for Amazon's recommendations.Initially I thought, $20+ bucks for a spoon rest? Why? I can always get something from T to the Maxx or use a disposable plate. I read the reviews (thankful to those who leave helpful feedback) and was sold on the customer who showed it could hold their Le Creuset lid.So I ordered it and tested it asap. Let me tell you, so far there are NO cons.1. It takes heavy pot lids (see picture). I am sure that pot weighs more than some humans (joke)2. Did not wobble at all during the entire cooking process. You know how you can be unsure about something and keep checking, hoping to activate superman/superwoman, it case it comes tumbling down.3. I love the little drip tray where the lid sits, so that drains steam, and does not spill onto the counter4. I love that it has a spoon rest (of course, that was the main reason I bought it) that can take maybe 2 spoons (ok...stretching it)5. I love that it is dishwasher safe. Who has time to clean the nooks and crannies of this thing?6. I love that it has a silicone base, so it will not scratch your counter.You can obviously tell, with these many points of mine, that this is a LOVE and a must have.

Very handy product. I always struggled to figure our where to set the lid while cooking. I don't like just putting it on the counter as it can leave a mess. Plus, large lids take up valuable counter space. This solves that problem and provides a place for utensils. It's lightweight but sturdy enough for my 7 quart dutch oven lid. Great product. I just bought a second one. Oxo almost always delivers great products.
