Heart of the Universe

I love Snatam Kaur and Peter Kater. With their talents combined they have made an incredible album. Her lyrics are in English on most songs which is different from most of her works. I think of all her albums, the beauty of her voice comes out in this one the most. Kater's piano accompanies her singing so perfectly! Each song opens and touches my heart so deeply. I can't stop listening to this!

This is a fabulous album. It speaks to my soul. I find myself listening to it all of the time, especially when I need inspiration.

A perfect union of voice and piano. This CD helps us transcends the material world and delivers us to a Divine land of love. This CD has some of my favorite tracks.

I listen to this CD at work while running my computer programs. It is very relaxing.....I can tune out the world and concentrate on my work while receiving the gentle calming energy that comes from the songs on this CD... Really like this artist and her work!

Ich habe schon so viele CDs von Snatam Kaur. Aber die hier ist mit Abstand die Beste. Das Klavierspiel perlt wie Tropfen ins Ohr und unterstützt Snatams schöne Stimme ohne sie zu überlagern. Ein super gelungenes Album für alle Fans und die, die es noch werden wollen! Snatam Kaur zeichnet sich für mich auch dadurch aus, dass sie in Sanskrit singt. Eine der ältesten Sprachen der Welt, die aber dank Snatam Kaur und anderen Sängern nur noch durch den Gesang weiterlebt.Im Begleitbuch der CD sind die Texte zum Mitsingen mit englischer Übersetzung sodaß man sehr schnell nachvollziehen kann, um was es bei den Stücken geht. Einige Lieder auf dieser CD sind aber auch auf Englisch oder in beiden Sprachen gemixt. Wie mein Lingslingslied "Sanctuary".

Neben Ras und Liberations Door meine Lieblings-CD von ihr. Sie singt wie ein Engel. Und Peter Kater: spielt sehr berührend melodisch Klavier. Auch seine eigenen CD's sind sehr schön. Die beiden passen gut zusammen.Die CD ist anders als die anderen: sie singt Englisch und die Klavierbegleitung.Unabhängig von der Rezension:wenn Ihr mal die Chance habt, zu einem Konzert zu ihr zu gehen: mein Herz ging weit auf. Nebenbei: sie sieht auch aus wie ein Engel.Sie singt ansonsten viel mit Guru Ganesha Singh zusammen. Auch seine CD's sind wunderschön. Er singt bei ihren CD's mit und umgekehrt.

Having been a huge fan of new age for many, many years, I must say this may just be the most ethereal, moving, and inspirationally beautiful music in our collection now. We're buying more of them -)

Diese CD empfinde ich als das schönste und ausergewöhnlichste Werk, das seit Jahren erschienen ist. Die Stimme von Snatam ist so kristallklar und einmalig, voller Liebe und Tiefgang. Insbesondere gefällt mir auch die Klaviermusik zur Stimme, die so gewählt ist, dass der Gesang immer im Vordergrund bleibt. Sicher ist die CD auch sehr gut zum Verschenken geeignet.Viele Grüße Andreas
