After long search of boots for the Russian winter, stopped on this model and firm. Practically it is the only model of the American boots with internal warming (the truth for such price the fur inside would have to be natural-as me it is thought).Winter yet didn't begin so about feelings I can't tell, but they hope with a winter will consult. From the noticed: 1) the insole not removable 2) by sight thin skin 3) a little heavy sole 4) as is sewn skin to a sole to understand difficult though on a fringing the double seam 5) for firm which conducts the American history since 1892 is observed and to make boots in China - somehow not so solidly.

Very nice,warm,balance shoe. But, I will have to return it, because I wear 6e New balance and it needs to be XW width. Not enough arch for flat feet. Also, felt some pain from my plantar walking, because the shoe was tight kind of. I think this shoe might fit regular feet or wide feet.

The first pair of boots or shoes I have purchased online. Very (very) happy with this purchase. They fit great, are comfortable and held up very well this past winter. My feet never got wet or cold. I wore them daily (during winter) in a professional business environment. Nobody will ever mistake them for dress shoes, but they do not look awkward in any sense.UPDATE: The next wintry season I pulled these on, went out into the elements and immediately got a wet foot. Upon closer inspection I found that the sole had a crack right in the middle of one of the treads and on one side the leather had pulled away from the sole ever so slightly. So for all the good, I now have one boot that didn't make it through season 2. I would not buy these again.

This boot is fairly comfortable and runs true to size. I normally wear an orthotic insole but so far I have not needed one as the boot has adequate arch support by itself. I just received them so can't attest to the warmth and waterproofness quite yet. I believe you can wear this boot with pretty much any type of pants and it will look good.After wearing these boots a few times, I found the front portion of the insole did not provide me with enough cushioning, so I am reducing the rating to 3 stars.

These were a struggle to pull on, even with regular socks. With light hiking socks I think it would have been impossible. And they looked a whole lot clunkier in person than in the pictures. Returned them.

Although I had to re-order a larger size (they clearly ran a little small), once I got the size that fit, they are a great boot for the outdoor sales work I do. They are warm, super comfortable and give every indication of being able to hold up to the weather well and provide durability. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to order them again . . . they're proving to be a great value.

I had been looking for a boot that either zipped to close or just pulled on. This boot fit the bill perfectly. Easy on; easy off smooth zipper action. Nice leather that purports to be waterproof. Fleece lined for warmth and cushioning. Sized right with a roomy toe box that allows for wearing thicker socks without cramping the toes.They fit me well (medium width size) but I can see how they might not fit a wide foot comfortably. I like them though and am considering the same shoe in brown.

difficult to put on due to limited opening with zipper all the way down, good fit after wrestling them on. Bought 1/2 size small assuming the fur will compact with wear, believe that will come out just right
