Our dog seems to think this is in fact the best over the counter antibiotic, and waste sure they do find that it works really well for matter cuts and scrapes. Easy to apply and appears to be highly effective.

Better product than tube in yellow box
I've switched to bacitracin because it's a cheaper ointment without the overkill of the triple-anti-bacterial ointment that dermatologists no longer recommend. CareAll bacitracin zinc ointment works well - I've used it a couple of times - and has a good texture and healing properties. The price point is excellent so I ordered a three-pack, one for the medicine cabinet, one for the first aid kit, and one to give my sister.
