Scunci No-Slip Grip Jaw Clip For Thick Hair, Assorted Colors (Pack of 2)

These clips are THE BEST for long thick hair. Nothing else grabs and holds my hair up in place like these do. They last a long time and have a good strong spring. I like the colors but even more importantly their ability to hold my hair. I've been using them for years and only have to replace them occasionally. I always buy these specific ones.

I first started using these clips when i found them in Walgreens years ago. Thats the only store that carried them. They last awhile and the non slip helps hold my hair. I have thick and long hair and these were the only clips that would actually hold my hair and withstand the amount of hair i have. Then Walgreens didnt have them in stock for awhile and thats when i found them here on Amazon. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is because i wanted the brown & black clips. But only received both brown.

I've used these clips for about 5 years now and can't live without them. I have super thick, very long (too my butt) hair. These clips easily hold the entire mop of my hair up and out of the way. They are comfortable, easy to open and hold firmly. The last two I bought lasted me about 2 years and I use them (open, close, open, close) about a dozen times a day- EVERY SINGLE DAY). Eventually the hinge breaks. But two years for a hair clip like this at this price is a bargain. I wouldn't be sane if I couldn't get all my hair up and out of my way. LOVE these clips and highly recommend.

I really like these clips and this is all that I will use. They are rubber tipped so they have a more firm grip on your hair and they are able to handle a lot of hair. I play pickleball using a clip like this and it stays in just fine.

I have a good foot and a half of hair, and wanted something to help me manage it that was a little easier on the hair and scalp. Generally claw clips don't hold up in my hair very well, but these are amazing! While other clips I can only put up around half my hair, this will clasp around my entire bun, and stay there for over 8 hours without needing to be adjusted or replaced. Not being able to choose the color was a very tiny downside, since I got a dark brown and black but have blonde hair, but they work so well I've found I don't care so much if they match!

These are my go to. They hold my hair better than any other clip. I have bought these four times. I will buy them again!

One of the clips came already broken. The other broke when I gently squeezed it open to look at the grips on the teeth to make sure they wouldn't catch on my hair. The grips looked fine, but it was really disappointing to see it break before I could even use it. I've purchased many scrunci products over the years, but this is the first time I've had such a negative experience. The plastic itself feels fragile, so I expect that they are using either substandard materials or that they haven't stored these properly. As I see other people complaining about how fragile these things are, I suspect it isn't just misuse or careless that's the issue: there's an actual problem with the product.
