If you are like me and were distressed at the end of life of the Watermaker Mini RO System, look no further: The PuroSmart is an upgraded Watermaker Mini, with all the benefits of that style of RO filter.The WMM was a 20 GPD faucet mount RO system, the PuroSmart is a 50 GPD faucet mount. The RO water comes out at a noticeably faster rate, and it takes around 30 minutes to an hour to fill a gallon. My water is just shy of 300 TDS, this drops it to 10 TDS with the current filter.It does have some waste water, this is an unfortunate reality to RO systems, and even under-sink systems have a drainage tube for the very same thing. The WaterMaker Mini seemed to have significantly more waste water than the PuroSmart, and the PuroSmart has an adjustable Flow Adjuster which has a pipe, allowing you to route the waste water, as opposed to WMM's exit flow going straight down from the system.All told I am impressed so far with the PuroSmart. It is basically perfect for my modest Carnivorous Plant collection. I will update this in 6 months or so once I know how long the filters will last.

What I liked most about this product, is that it showed up when I needed it most. It is something I was gonna have to invent myself, if Purosmart hadn't already covered it. I don't mean that arrogantly. It was a that desperate of a situation. Everything about this product is what I was praying for. One thing that can be upgraded is to have a way to add minerals/electrolytes back into the mix, because of muscle cramps at times. Although I found iodized salt and magnesium along with potassium to supplement really helps. Thanks Purosmart! Please say you're here to stay.

The system works as promised. I’ve used one other portable RO brand years ago and this one meets all expectations. I found that the enclosed instructions were somewhat baffling so I called the company, left a message and receive a return call from a pleasant gentleman. By then I’d figured it out but he answered a couple of incidental questions I had. The flow rate is good. I have to retime it, but to fill a gallon bottle was about 45 minutes or so which is great!

Was easy to instal and to worked well. Removed the off taste from Phoenix tap water and took the conductivity down from 448 uS to 100 uS so should work well for removing chlorine and minerals from my tap water for my hydroponics system.
