Brick LootLighting Kit for Your Lego Detective's Office Set 10246 (Lego Detective Set not Included)

Looks and worked great, but came with a tangle in the wires that was done at the factory. The only way to untangle it would be to cut the wire and reconnect it. No thanks.

Received the Brick Loot lighting kit as a birthday gift. This is the first lighting set I have added to a LEGO Creator Expert Modular Building and I am very impressed with this set across the board.* Quality packaging* Quality materials, but the wires are very thin which they need to be, but be careful* Clear installation instructions available online* Looks great! I love finally being able to see the interior details* EXCELLENT customer supportYes, they are a bit pricey. However once I got it installed and saw the results, I realized they were worth the price. The lights fit perfectly and I'm sure it would have taken me hours to make my own and probably would not have had the same result.When I moved my building to another location, one of the floors fell over and a wire got cut. I wasn't sure how to splice the wire back together because it was so thin. I sent a support request to Brick Loot and received a friendly and thorough response in less than 30 minutes on how to fix the wire. Fortunately, it was pretty easy--cut the wire cover with my fingernail and splice the wire together. Had all my lights back on in less than 5 minutes.Very impressed with quality and customer service. I have already put an order in for two more sets.

I wanted to compare brick loot and lightailing light kits. Brick loot’s directions were more detailed than lightailing. Lightailing had better packaging and comes with a battery pack and multi USB port and stronger construction. I would base further purchases based on light placement and cost. Lightailing seems to be a bit brighter lights. Also the pool sign does not light up even though some images show the pool sign illuminated.

Neat kit, makes the building really come to life so you can enjoy all of the clever interior builds. It is quite the task to install correctly so that wires are not visible and so on, but is very much worth the effort when complete. I would not recommend this for children. I believe this is best installed by an adult or older teenager with quite a bit of patience.

Another great light kit. I now have 4 kits all ordered from Brick Loot. The lego kits look great anyway, but lit up, they become awesome. Brick Loot is super great to deal with. Emails to them were answered in hours, not days. Haven't installed it yet, so don't know how difficult or easy it will be. Did install the lights in the Lego Ferris Wheel very quickly.Beware of competitors whose kits might not be the same quality.

My Detective Office Set has come to Live!! Very nice kit and perfectly done. Brick Loot you really made my day. Definitely I will order all the kits you produce and will buy any missing set for any available lighting kit. Keep up the good workI recommend this for any LEGO Fan
