Very hard to find. We had two very similar pattern and wanted to expand the number of settings. These are very nice and now we have six very nice pasta bowls. I think I’ll go whip up some sauce now.

I LOVE these bowls. They are on the smaller side of average pasta bowls but that’s fine by me. They’re beautiful!!!! Love the box they come in as well! 10 stars!!

I bought these and the olive oil ones from the same maker to have more of them. I am absolutely in love with these bowls! They are the perfect size for pasta, salads, a small side of veg for four, a handy snack dish for a gathering - you name it, it works! Gorgeous, thoughtful designs, nice weight. Now if they just had one more pattern option.....(ha ha ha). Maybe I just need to get another set of each type! GET THESE BOWLS!! You will not regret it!!

If you have looked at my other reviews, I bought two sets of these pasta bowls (one set with an "olive oil" pattern and another with a "pasta" pattern), and two sets of dipping bowls (one tiny and one a bit bigger). Basically, I wanted daily household dishes that look nice and are somewhat durable, as my kids manage to chip (or destroy) all our ceramic bowls. These bowls are cute, colorful, and so far appear to be very durable -- no chips, cracks, or other breakage. They also come in an attractive patterned gift box, if intend to give them as a gift (which I did not). The size is perfect for soups, salads, and pasta and end up on our kitchen table on a daily basis. I took off one star because the quality control is not perfect. In each one of the sets, the outside ceramic surface had marks, probably from the glazing process. (You can see the dark vertical line from the bottom edge to the top edge in the attached photo). This does not take away from the usefulness of the bowl, but it also clearly is not a minor variation you might see in a hand painted bowl. This is clearly the result of the manufacturing/glazing process. That said, this does not take away from the usefulness of the bowls or their overall value for the money, but it is something that should have been easily discovered in the quality control process. I took off one star because of this.

Nothing like having mostaccioli and red gravy in a special bowl

Wonderful for pasta type meals. With the raised edges, they hold all the liquids in. Actually we use them for more than just Italian style foods. They work much better than regular semi-flat plates for almost everything. Add to that the beautiful hand -painted motifs, these are just plain wonderful to look at. We bought a set of these many years ago, and the edges were actually a little higher than these are now. Would like to find another set of those....

We eat pasta all the time and these are so cute and perfect size! Great for gift or just to have at home.
