Review of WANDER Men's Athletic Ankle Socks 3/8 Pairs Thick Cushion Running Socks for Men&Women Cotton Socks 6-9/9-12/12-15I have gravitated towards this brand of socks. They have changed the way they’ve been made somewhat, and I like how they used to be made before better than now. I first bought this brand about 8 years ago, having purchased calf-length socks. Then I tried their ankle socks. They changed them all to a thinner sock. So far, they have held up better than any other brands I have tried. I used to buy the standard big box store brands, name brands, but those seem to wear out quickly. These are comfortable too. The sizing is spot on. The elasticity is good and holds up well. I don’t like that all I could find on the product information is that they are imported, but it does not specify from where. They are slightly more expensive than some, but you get 8 pairs for the price. This time they arrived in the box pictured in my review. I feel they could lower the price and send them in a plastic bag rather than in this heavy-duty gift box.

These fit well, they are nicely cushioned and are well made. Happy that I bought them.

I was tired of socks made for sizes 6-12 being too long for my size 8.5 feet, so I was excited to see these offered for sizes 6-9. These seemed to fit great, but they wore out quickly in the ankle from rubbing my shoe, because the small sock sags down putting a weak elastic part on my Achilles tendon.Otherwise these are thick, comfy and durable in the soles. They are still wet in the drier when the rest of the load of whites is completely dry.

Fit well, nice padding where needed and just the right height. Socks stayed in place and did not move around in my shoes while hiking.

My son walks in such a way that he wears out his socks at the ball of his feet. He also has wide and large feet. Regular socks do not last. These socks have a lot of cushion, that makes them last longer and fit him well. They are well made and don't shrink in the wash. Would recommend for whatever reason you need extra cushion.

Have been wearing Hanes ankle socks for years. Ignored the recent reviews that said the quality had gone down and ordered a dozen. Should have listened. Socks were very thin. I returned them.Went back on Amazon and read the reviews for these. More expensive than the Hanes but they are fantastic. Nice and thick with extra cushioning in the heel and ball. Am very pleased. Actually I'm going to order another eight pack (come in a box individually folded) for the future. Good buy.

Comfortable but runs small

My feet are size 10 but wide so socks have always felt tight but with these socks they fit snuggly but don't bind around the ankles either. They seem to stretch easily so I image large foot sizes would be comfortable as well. I am not a runner but, they are a little thicker than some socks but no issues fitting into any of my shoes so it's nice to have that extra cushion. Have not worn them in the summer but so far suitable for winter and spring. I've only had them a month or so but so far hold up perfectly in the wash. I don't want to wear my other socks now. Reasonably priced as well.

Good but not great

I am a woman's size 11, and use these as house socks with my slippers. They are very thick but don't make my feet sweat. They keep your feet warm and are very soft on the inside, so it feels like you're putting your feet into clouds. The elastic has not worn out yet and I have been wearing these socks every day for a few months now, and the ankle elastic is not tight at all! Very comfortable! I do recommend it!
