JBLProFlora Direct 63340 High Performance Diffuser for CO2 16/22 Inline

I have been using it for over a month, no leaks so far, the issue is with the integrated return valve that allows water back flow into the CO2 line, at the same time the bubble counting is not consistent, also comparing it to the in tank diffuser, it seems to be less efficient, only advantage is that you don't have it in sight, oh and it is really quite, I am adding this because some said it is making noise. I was expecting much more from a brand like JBL

The advantages of this is it keeps all the paraphernalia for CO2 injection outside of the hi-tech tank and provides very effective gas diffusion.I am running around 1 bubble per sec and there's negligible sign of micro-bubbles out the spray bar, so close to 100% of gas is being diffused. I have approx 40cm of pipe from this unit to the spray bar, running 1,000lph canister filter.Although it's quite pricey, you do get the inbuilt bubble counter and back-flow valve all in one unit. Install was pretty simple, but I had to use the provided screws to attach to stand; the drag from water-filled 22mm pipes meant the suction cups didn't have a chance of holding.I followed the instructions and left the ceramic diffuser ring in a glass of water for 24 hours before fitting and had no problems with large bubbles.The filter pipes pushed on easily after dunking the ends in a cup of boiling water, then the two nuts cinch up. NB the hoses on my filter are 15mm inside/20mm outside diameter and there's been no sign of leaks.The only downside, not a fault of the unit, is I need a torch to count the bubbles as the unit is installed down the side of the stand where it's quite dark.

It only made bubbles come from water outlet, but huge bubbles that immediately rise to surface. Worse than cheap in tank diffusers. Tried with 4bar pressure, 1.5 meters before output, but no significant difference. Just not worth the money. I took it out and won't put it back.

I've had this for over a year. Great item that is still functioning as it did on day one. CO2 diffusion is still sufficient for my planted tank. Also simple to install.

The bubbles from the diffuser are too large and the majority float to the surface. Nowhere near as efficient as an up diffuser.

If you have an external filter, this is a must!!!
