It arrived super quick. I use it to thicken juice and water for my wife. It works perfect. just follow the directions. A real plus, it works on coffee. My wife was pleased!

I didn't know that this was available until my MIL needed it while in the hospital. As an older person I sometimes have trouble with choking when I drink. I can make my water as thick or thin as I like. It's tasteless and odorless and works great. Just make sure you put it in a dry container, add some water and mix it before mixing in the rest of the water. Wait that few minutes for it to work and you're ready to go. I haven't had any issues with choking since using this!

Good liquid thickener. Promt delivery. Screwtop lid makes bit of mess if not Careful.

It can actually be used with less of the powder per serving for the same amount of thickness of you wait long enough. I use 4 scoops for a half gallon of water and wait about a half hour and it's at about nectar thick, maybe slightly thicker. I also use an immersion blender for all mixing and there's no powder left in the liquid. Takes about 10-15 seconds.

This stuff is the best thickener I found for water. It's always going to be a bit cloudy but not as bad as the others.

Bought this for my 92 yr old mom due to swallowing problems with liquid. Mixes completely as long as you follow the directions (the powder has to go in a dry container before mixed with water) I found out the hard way! Tasteless and has 3 levels that you can make. Will buy again

Overall, it works as described. Pros: 1) It does a good job thickening; 2) Tasteless; 3) Convenient measuring scoop. CONS: 1) Even with brisk stirring, it doesn’t easily dissolve in liquid. We started using an electric, handheld emulsifier to mix thoroughly; 2) It seems to continue to thicken over time. To avoid liquid getting too thick over time, we started adding ice cubes or more liquid after a while. 3) You somewhat have to guess or experiment to find the correct amount for different types & quantities of liquid. Some liquids are naturally thicker than others so extra guidance on the packaging would be helpful.

I bought a different kind of thickener at first, but didn't like it very well, then while browsing on Amazon i found this thickened & decided to give it a try. I read where it was tasteless. Ordered it for my mom & now fixing to order again. I'll give my brother the one I bought first & I'll keep the new one. Since I live with mom, we will keep the new one & let my brother take the 1st one. Mom rarely stays with my brother

this works if the patient cant swallow without coughing thickens but there is no taste to it

Anything I need thickened but can't use heat I can use this instead. The key is lots and LOTS of stirring. I've even used a mini USB powered mix frother as a wisk to whip whatever liquids I need thickened. The more whipping, the thicker the solution results will be. And even after vigorous whipping leaving it overnight the solution will even be thicker the next day. The type of thickness it creates is more like a gelatin consistency than a pudding type. So thickened, but not smooth. But it has helped me fix or correct stuff I accidentally added too much water to. I've used in on handmade lotions where I mix two different properties lotions into one using distilled water, but ended up with too runny of a solution - so I added this and whipped away and fixed it. I use commercial condiment dispensers in my fridge to keep everything compact neat and tidy. But to get said condiments into the bottles I had to water them down a bit. But too much water and no one wants runny condiments. So with this I fixed watered down condiments to get into these bottles. Now my fridge looks clean and tidy and no more a variety of awkwardly shaped bottles of different sizes and shapes. So far I've corrected/fixed condiments, smoothies, lotions and even water based paints.

Bought this to support my brother to be able to drink water during a serious illness. It helped him to drink water in small quantities

I choked on my liquid 2 weeks ago it terrified me my son suggested a thickener for my water I use level 3 it's brilliant put my mind at rest with the level 3 option no more choking or going down the wrong way now I also tried a bit of vimto in a glass and water and then pored ut in and mixed it was lovely and refreshing
