Simple but reliable entry level wireless keypad/remote/card access control system. Just add an electric strike plate or other entry mechanism and this is set to control access to most doorways. Keypad is nicer quality than I was expecting, although it is fully plastic with rubber keys. It has a built in speaker and a doorbell function so visitors can alert workers in another location that someone is at the door and needs to be let in.You do need to purchase AAA and CR2032 batteries for the remote units. Additionally, the RFID cards are not included but are easy to purchase. These work with the 125khz type. The little remote control also engages the door contact switch for remote access without using a card or code. An exit button allows anyone to open the door from the inside and has a built in LED to signal activation. The control box does allow for a wired exit switch as well as the wireless unit.This was very easy to install. I just wired up 12v to the control board, and inserted batteries into the 3 devices and they were ready to go. Programming the codes is simple and the instruction manual was very clear. I am very impressed at how well it all works at this price point. Obviously it's mostly plastic but it's been reliable and this is a very good option for a basic door access controller that is easy to set up and use. Besides the code entry, allowing programmable key cards is really nice and I'm very satisfied with this set. Long term, the biggest issue is going to be having to replace the batteries so hopefully they last a long time in the keypad and exit buttons, which are mounted to the wall.
